7. Pack your bags, you are leaving this place

She wiped a lone tear that escaped my eyes then helped me inside the house

"Ria what happened?" Mama asked coming closer to me giving me a worried look.

"She fell..." Ren was quick to say helping me towards my room.

"You don't have to stay here you know.." I said once she helped me lie on my bed, "you have a date and you haven't even bought the dress yet.."

She nodded her head and I watched as she left the room.

I should have known to never have hope otherwise it can always crash and now I was all alone with no one  by my side.

Ren left me too.

I silent sobbed in my pillow when I felt a hand rub on my back. It's probably mama.

I don't know for how long I sobbed but once I was done, I sniffed moving my face from the pillow only to see Ren, she was crying too.

"I thought you left.." I asked sniffing, "your date was important why didn't you leave?" My voice was horsey 

"I canceled it, my best friend was hurting and I needed to be by her side.." she said in a small soft voice.

"You chose me over your boyfriend? Why?"

She got closer to me pulling me into a hug.

"You are my best friend Vik, I would never abandon you in your hardest moments ever.." A warm feeling filled my heart. I wasn't alone but had someone by my side and it was the best thing ever. Ren truly was my best friend the bestest friend a girl could ask for.

"I love you a lot ok---" she stopped midsentence breaking the hug and her eyes snaped towards the door.

 I followed her gaze only to see Micheal

For a moment I saw affection in his eyes but it quickly disappeared.

"Pack your bags, you are leaving this place.." His voice was so damn commanding and turning on! Wait what am I saying..

Micheal left the room and Ren looked at the door then me then at the door and then gave me a long that said I know what's going on. 

"Why are you giving me that look," I asked sniffing.

"Nothing come on I will help you pack.."

"What?" I stopped her, "pack? Where will I go? I don't have another place to stay.."

"You will be staying at his house, now get up maybe he has realised his wrong and wants to make it up to you.."

"Well he won't be making it up to me by ordering me around plus how will I pack when I can't even walk. I don't care what he says I am not going anywhere..." I defiantly crossed  my arms glaring at nothingness. First he hurt me and instead of apologising he just commands me to go with him?? Who does that??

" Victoria.." Mama walked into the room smiling widely.

"Sir wants to take you home with him, your dream of leaving this place is coming true my little girl.." She smiled sweetly pulling me into a hug.

"Mama.." I broke the hug, "I am not going anywhere with him. He is the reason why I am--" Ren cut me of by placing her hand on my mouth

"What she means is that she doesn't like him but I am sure it's only a joke.." she responded 

"Ohh well then okay I will leave you girls to get on with the packing, see you dear.." Mama kissed my forehead. I wanted to tell her that I was hurt because of him but Ren had a tight hold on my mouth. My this girl is so small and skinny but she got tight grip.

Once mama left the room Ren removed her hand while I glared.

"Look you are my best friend and I will tell you this,

Micheal isn't someone you should mess with, if you had told mama that he hurt you she would have been angry and would have yelled at him which would have made everything worse for this orphanage. You know his family is the founder. Just listen and go with him.."

"Ren he doesn't even like me what will I do at his place? You know that's were Jasmine and her cousins live, they will only make my life hell and bully me.."

She sighed standing up, " I know but maybe things will be better, maybe he--" she suddenly stopped talking standing still her eyes giving off a far away look.

" Ren?" I called but she didn't answer

"Ren are you okay?" I asked and still silence.

I was about to standing up and shake her when she suddenly snapped out of it looking extremely pale and worried

"I am sorry Vik but you have to do what he says.." she said going to my wardrobe

taking out my clothes 

"What Ren, what are you doing? I'm not going anywhere.."

"Please Vik.." she begged giving me a sad scared look, "please.."

"What's wrong Ren? why do you look scared?" I asked placing my palm on her cheek.

"I can't tell you yet but I promise to tell you everything.."

"What are you hiding?" I asked

Searching her eyes

"I can't tell you yet but I promise to tell you everything later please do what he said please I am begging you, if you want I can even--" she knelt down on the floor "please Vik just go with him.."

"Ren why are you acting like this? Get up from the floor don't beg.." I sternly told her

"Well there is nothing I could do okay kneeling was my last resort.."

"Please tell me what's going on Ren and why you are literally begging me to go with Micheal?"

"Because---" she sniffed wiping away a tear

"Ren we are best friends tell the truth, what  are you hiding?" I asked again

"Vik I am sorry I can't tell you right now please you have to understand I can't tell you but but--" her eyes lit up like she just had an idea, "You can ask Micheal he will tell you everything.."

"No.." I shook my head. "If you won't tell me then I won't go with Micheal.."

"Vik please understand I'm not allowed to tell anyone.."

"Okay then you can go and come back when you are ready to say it otherwise I am not going anywhere with Micheal.."

"Okay okay I will tell you but you have to promise to not tell anyone not even mama and you also have to promise to go with Micheal.."

"I promise.." I said looking at her waiting for her to tell me.

" I -- I am -- I--" she was nervous not even forming a single sentence, "I am a we--" Micheal walked into the room and emedietely Ren shut her mouth, fear written all over her face. She took steps away then looked at me her eyes begging me to save her, now I didn't know what the problem was but if it made the strongest girl I know to be scared then it must be huge.

Micheal took a step towards her giving her death glares well she shook her head stepping away.

"Ren, please come help me pack.."  I broke their stare. Micheal looked at me one more time then 

"Don't keep me waiting I am only giving you ten minutes. You don't come down by then you will regret it.." He said these words looking at Ren who was scared out of her mind.

"Yes yes Alpha.." she bowed and Micheal left the room. 

Ren blew out a sigh of relief then quickly started folding my clothes packing them in my bag while I looked at her. She was being extremely fast and once she was done she carried the bags out my room while I looked on wondering what was up with her and why she just called Micheal Alpha?

Minutes passed by and Ren didn't come back but instead Micheal came into my room and picked me up bridal style

" where is Ren?" I asked him

"She is were she should be.." He said in a dead tone which gave the hint that I shouldn't ask more questions.

No one was around not even mama, the orphanage was always bustling with kids running around and noise but it was eerily quiet.

" Where is--" I didn't even finish my sentence as he cut me off

"Be quiet.." He commanded.

He sat me on the sit and without another word, drove off.

I was looking out the window when I saw a big building come into my line of view. I had seen this building many times mostly because I visited this place a lot of times with Ren, the building was only a few feet away from her home and I was surprised as Micheal packed right at the front.

"You live here?" I asked in bewilderment. He didn't say anything instead opened the door and picked me up bridal style. The door suddenly opened and a beautiful woman walked out. She had blonde hair and silver eyes just like Micheal.

"Is she?" the woman asked Micheal whilst looking at me. Micheal didn't say anything instead, he simply ignored the woman going into the house that was bustling with noise and chatters, but as soon as they saw Micheal and me they all stopped talking and soon all of them had their mouths wide open.

Now I was feeling even more self conscious, The ladies here looked so beautiful even the grandmas and I guess I was the ugly one.
