10. Heat

I dragged myself to the bathroom filling up the tub with cold water but the moment I stepped into the water, the temperature began changing and the water became hot. What in the world??

The more time passed the more the heat increased which turned into pain.

I got out of the bathtub covered myself with a towel walking into the room 

"Aah.." I Groaned out as I felt slight pain on my lower body part I didn't know what was happening to me and there was no way I could call someone for help since I was deserted. 

I removed all the covers from the bed and lie down writhering in pain and hoping someone would walk through the door.

Tears began flowing out of my eyes as I felt like I was in a burning infernal like I had been thrown in a volcano. What in all things sweet was happening to me?

"Aah.." I screamed out feeling the fire intensify, increasing at a rapid state. I don't know for how long I screamed but I felt something cold come into contact with my skin. I momentarily stopped screaming only to realise that there was a lot of people in the room and the cold thing was actually Micheal's hands.

What the??? I tried to find something to cover up only to realise that I was practically naked and a shirtless Micheal had his arms wrapped around me.

I pushed him off but the moment I did, the fire increased even ten times more than the first time. I let out a loud screaming wrapping my arms around him and he was quick to wrapped his arms around me.

"What's happening to me??" I asked no one in particular. I could tell the people in the room were saying something but I couldn't understand what it was. 

"Make it stop.." I whispered out feeling the fire slowly start creeping in even though Micheal was holding on to me. At this point tears were freely falling from my eyes.

"You have to do it Micheal, she might die she is a human.." I heard a voice say but I couldn't figure out who's voice it was. 

"She will hate me if I do.." Micheal said I don't know what they meant by all of this but all I wanted was for the fire to stop

"Please make it stop.." I whimpered drawing closer to Micheal not even caring about the fact that everyone saw my face and my naked body, all I wanted was the fire to stop and for Michael to touch Me, never in my entire life did I ever think that I would desire Michael's touch the way I am right now.

And this was different because for some unknown reason I didn't just want him to touch me the way he was right now but I wanted more something more to happen.

My body was now closely placed against his, my boobs pressed on his chest as his hands run through my body. The fire was growing stronger each passing second and all I wanted was for it to stopped.

** Micheal pov**

She freaking pushed me out of her room and told me to rot in hell. How dare she I glared at the door. Women can be so moody when they are having that time of the month. I huffed. 

Fine I don't care she can die of hunger for all I care..

I walked back down stairs and furiously damped the tray of food in the sink, walking out of the house going to the only person who could help me get a release. 

Luckily she was available and I ended up having sex with her all night long not even worrying about the fact that my mate would be feeling all the pain. I was passed the caring faze.

I got up early in the morning leaving Gemma asleep. I showered then went back to my house to get ready for work only to be scolded by my Mom about my actions.

"Mom please stay away from Victoria don't even talk to her she needs to be taught a lesson.."

"Taught a lesson? really? Micheal? She is your mate the future Luna you can't rule without her.." This was getting me frustrated. I ended up letting out a sigh and finding a way to sweet talk my way out of this

"Look mom I know, I regret what I did to my mate, but promise you won't go and see her. I want her to get comfortable with me first okay?"

"But--"

"Mom I want her to like me first before I could officially introduce her to the family.." I sweet talked. She sighed 

"okay if you say so, I won't visit her until

you introduce her to us.." 

"Great.." I said hugging her.

She left my room and I let out a sighed.

It's been a week since I last saw my mate. I have made sure to stay away from Gemma even though it was the most difficult task to do since she was always flaunting in my office at work but I successfully managed. 

"Michael how is Victoria doing?" Grandma Serene asked while we all sat at the breakfast table.

"I don't know.." I shrugged my shoulders continuing with my breakfast.

"What do you mean by you don't know? She is your mate what if she is sick or she is dying you should be taking care of her Micky.." Mom decided to lecture me. I was so getting tired of all this mate issues can't these people just let me be

"Mom please, I am tired of hearing your lectures about mates. I don't want a mate. I feel like you are forcing me to settle down when it's clear that I don't want to. I am only twenty five for goodness sake, there is plenty of time for me to get myself together so that I an start planning a family.."

"But Micky, I mean look at Jack! He is only twenty four but he looks so happy having a girl by his side, don't you want that?"

"No--" 

"But--"

"Mom please just leave it, okay dont force me otherwise I won't be held accountable for my next actions.." I said it in montane. 

" and what's that suppose to mean?" She asked crossing her arms. Damn it does she always have to ruin breakfast mood.

"I will move out and come back ten years later when I'm ready to have a mate.."

"You wouldn't---"

"Scarlet.." grandpa Kaden stopped her. "Let him do what he wants okay, don't force him. He will realise the importance of a mate when the time comes just let him be.."

"Yes father.." Mom said and the chapter was closed finally!! 

"Alpha Micheal, Alpha Micheal.." I heard the maid I had order to take care of Victoria say running down the stairs. 

"What is it now?" I asked

"It's Victoria she is--" She didn't even finish her sentence as I was already on my feet running up the stairs to Victoria's room 

I burst through the door but stopped dead in my tracks as her intoxicating daisy sent hit me full force.

She was in heat but that's not the only thing that caught my attention and had my mouthing hanging open.

She was screaming and lying naked on the bed showing off her perfect body. I have been with many women in my life but Victoria was more perfect than all of them. She was one perfect sight and little me was already getting hard just by looking at her.

She wasn't ugly but was the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on. How did I not know about this?.

She had fare skin with a beautiful round face and pouty pink lips. 

"What's wrong with Victoria?" I heard someone say 

"don't come any closer.." I stopped them, "She is in heat.."

"Help me it hurts.." Her voice broke through my mind and I quickly removed my shirt going closer to her and touching her. It seems my touch soothed the fire that was surrounding her body.

I sat on the bed gathering her in my arms and covering her lower body part with the blanket. The moment I did so, Mom and my Grandmas came into the room

"How is it possible that a human is in heat?" I asked my hands running through Victoria's hot body

"Well I don't know.."

"Grandma Serene you are the goddess shouldn't you know everything?" I asked looking at her she just shrugged her shoulders crossing her arms. 

"Help me it hurts it hurts.." Victoria whimpered out.

"You have to mate with her Micheal.." Mom said

"No I can't do that mom I don't want her to hate me.."

"But she will die if you don't.." Grandma Serene said, "she is a human, she isn't strong enough to handle the heat.."

I felt Victoria push me off glaring at me but the moment she did so she screamed in pain hugging me and I was quick to hug her back placing small kisses.

"Do it Micheal otherwise she will died and you will be mateless forever.."

I was about to say something when grandma Kaira glared.

"Don't even think about letting this poor girl die Micheal, have some humanity.."
