“How can I be sure of that?” Jerel asked with indifference. The child could be Adam’s and Lexie could say that she is pregnant with his pup only to escape from his wrath.

“It is, babe!” Lexie said , changing the tone of her voice. “You know that I would never carry another man's pup. I am only yours.” but hearing her saying that Jerel starts to laugh.

“Let me contradict you” and he pushes her away from him. He is disgusted by Lexie.

“Just think about it, babe: Lexie insisted.

“We can use the baby. I can claim that it’s Adam’s and the pup will inherit the pack if out of nowhere something happens with Adam Hawkins. It is yours, I swear to you, but we can use the pup to our advantage!”
