As soon as we left the Red Blood Pack, Alex pulled me in his lap. One of his warriors is driving the car and we are in the back seats. Actually, Alex is on his seat because I am on his lap, leaning against him.

It’s so damned good to be in his arms again. I feel the bond so intensely. Everywhere my fingers are touching him there is tingle, there is a little spark. So I stretch my neck and I peck my mark on his neck, making him shiver under me.

We mated, we marked each other but now that Kelly is back everything is more intense. I can see that he is angry , but he just leaves me to touch him and he is trying to suppress his need to scold me for going after Lexie alone.

I would like to say I am sorry, but I let him be as I feel his arms wrapped around my body. He is holding me tight and his breath is alert. HIs heartbeats run faster and faster. I could have died. I know that. I was outnumbered and those rogues had a little and defeated me. I am alive because of Alex.
