Chapter 13

I rested my head on Jeremy's shoulder and felt so sad. Not that Douglas's presence was needed. I just felt bad because he left us.

Jeremy patted my shoulder and reassured me of victory right before every pack member. " Here is a place of choice. Is there anyone of you who chooses to follow Douglas? Let him follow him,"

Jeremy said, and the whole field became quiet as though a deceased was mourning. They all bowed their head down as if they were looking at their shoes. Only a few members raised their hands, and they were permitted to leave. And just like Douglas, they shifted into their wolf and ran out of our presence. However, though, we still had a higher number of pack members who had chosen to remain in the pack and avenge the death of Kyle, their hero.

" Now that you all have chosen to stay, let's work together and put an end to the abductors," Jeremy screamed to the sky, and the pack members responded too with a loud shout, and the training continued.
