After seeing Matt and Lily took off, Clayton linked with Ella and patiently told her that he is dismissing her from her duties and to already get some rest. He will call her if there is anything that he will be needing from her.

Clayton finally turned off most of the lights inside his house, leaving some outside and one at the dining area before going inside his room. The minute he closed the door to his room, he could hear Amarah crying quietly from the bathroom and the shower running.

Taking a new and thick towel from his cabinet, Clayton walked inside the bathroom and came to a complete stop when he saw her. All the control he had gathered when he stepped down his car immediately evaporated at the sight in front of him.

Amarah, naked, is sitting on the shower floor with water running down on her. She is holding his soap and rubbing it frantically on the marks that run up her upper towards her back. While she was doing that, tears continued streaming down her

Ever since the night that he admitted and told her truthfully about Erika, she had noted that he became caring and open with her.She recalled one night where she told him that she was bored, and he laid out to her the plans that he did for the upcoming mating festival. He explained to her the preparations that his pack is doing and told her what’s going to happen during the festival. With nothing to do mostly in the evening, she had almost finished reading and scanning through the books that Clayton has in his office, which also constitutes a small library. She had also brought home some books from the center and studied through it. But her mind also became heavy with information overload. She became hungry for other things and she had told Clayton about it.Clayton reciprocated by not making fun of h

Clayton opened his eyes and immediately noticed that Amarah is not beside him on his bed. He raised his head up, searching for her and then saw her sitting by the bay window, looking out and a thin blanket wrapped around her body. He looked towards his clock at his bedside table, and it read five in the morning. She seemed to be in deep thought that she didn’t hear him roll over the bed.“Come back to bed, sweetheart,” he called huskily.Amarah turned to him and gave him a smile.“I didn’t want to wake you up,” she said as she stood up and walked back to the bed. Clayton automatically pulled the blanket so she can get in and when she did, he automatically pulled her down to him and removed the one covering her body. “I knew you’re going to be tired after this week-long festival.”Clayton nuzzled her neck, caressing her back lovingly.“I’m going to be fine,” he assured as

Amarah pulled her hair into a loose ponytail later that morning after drying it before heading out from her room. She then directly went to the dining table and reached for an apple, biting into it, and feeling the sweet juice consuming her mouth deliciously. She opened the refrigerator and searched for other items inside that she could eat, too tired to do some quick cooking to ease her hunger. She decided to blamed Clayton on her current situation but then relented. As much as she wants to make him the reason for her tiredness, she started to think as well that maybe it wasn’t really his fault. She had never thought that what she and Clayton had done inside his room was something that she would come to like. The fact that she was able to accommodate his demands made her blush furiously from the top of her head to the tip of her toes. A knock on the front door made her look up and she cautiously walk to there to open the door. Evangeline Langston sto

After finally seeing King Atticus taking off back to the Lycan capital, Clayton had some pending items that are urgent reviewed and approved first in his office, before finally deciding to head back home to Amarah. He still had something important to discuss with her and he knows that it’s something that will make her become uncooperative for a while. “Don’t forget also that your mother’s at your house right now. With Amarah,” Kragen reminded seriously. “I already told you before you let her sleep early in the morning about the connection that the both of us need to do because she has no wolf. What if your mom had started imparting lessons or teachings to her already? She might mention that I need to mate with Amarah as well since she’s wolf less.” Clayton’s face darkened as he got inside his car and started the engine. “Can’t you wait, Kragen?” He snapped hotly. “I just bedded her last night and you’re already pushing to take control. Amarah with her body tilting forward, sought some anchorage against the cold tiled wall inside the bathroom of her room with sweaty hands. She let out an erotic moan, her eyes tightly shut as Clayton, or rather Kragen took her from behind. With the shower still running, the small room had been engulfed in steam as well as them. The two of them moved in tandem with Amarah losing her balance from time to time but would be immediately held by Kragen to keep her from falling. His ragged breathing behind her and rough biting on her skin especially on her neck and shoulders had sent her into titillating delirium. After finally clearing her thoughts that she will be still mating with Clayton, Amarah had finally relented from her misgivings but told Clayton that she wants to take a nap first, admitting to him that she still felt tired and that the accidental marking on her is still giving her some uncomfortable feelings.Clayton reluctantly said yes.Amarah woke

He gently pulled the covers off him and kissed Amarah on her cheek, watching her snuggling and pulling the cover over her. He smiled as he finally stood up. “I’ll be right out.”He went out of her room, closing the door quietly and went to his, opening his closet and putting on shirt and sweatpants. He didn’t bother putting any boxers, knowing that he’s going to take them off again later. After all those times, Clayton could still not get over Amarah. Three years later… Clayton watched anxiously as Amarah breathed in and out as she is clutching his hand tightly on a very early Thursday morning in their room, at his house. He watched as she closed her eyes and tried to control the pain that she is going through right now. “Oh, God, that’s worst,” Amarah finally stated. “You also said the last one was worst,” Clayton countered as he wiped the beads of perspiration on her forehead. “Are you just trying to pacify me? It’s not working, I’m telling you that.” “You’re the one who put this on me,” Amarah teased him with a smile. Clayton stared at her dumbfoundedly. “Amarah, if I knew that I will be going through this as well, I would have waited a little bit more before putting that child in you,” he argued lightly. “I am not ready to go through this process.” That earned a laugh from Matt, who is sitting on one side of the room and patiently monitoring Amarah’s condition. Clayton gave him a good glare. He turned back to his wife, w

She smiled sadly. “I could have done more,” she answered softly. “But I guess I overexerted myself that

Gabriel, with his hands inside the pockets of his jacket stared down quietly and intently at Catherine’s tomb. His eyes wandered towards the words written on her white, marble epitaph and he gripped his fists tightly. “Life is not Forever. But LOVE is.” He glanced up a bit when he heard a howl in the air, signifying the end of the mourning period. For Amarah. Instead of the tradition’s usual five days of mourning, King Atticus had decreed that the observation of mourning for Amarah will be extended for two more days. This is because of the influx of wolves from all over the kingdom that wanted to pay their last respects to the Saville woman, who had unselfishly given her all to treat those who needed her help. And it has been seven days as well that Gabriel has been visiting his mate’s tomb and would just stand there for hours without saying anything. Gabriel heard some rustling behind and he raised his head up and waited. “Everyone’s starting to gather at the grounds,” Conrad i

Amarah opened her tired and heavy eyes when she heard a howl, more like a battle cry in the air. She immediately sat up straight and then stood up immediately when another sound came. She rushed out the office she occupied to rest for a while, her heart pounding.“What’s happening?!” She demanded loudly as she saw the wolves in the center that are strong enough to check, crowding towards the entrance of the building. She pushed her way in the crowd, her eyes straining to see what they are all looking at. “What’s going out there? Is it Clayton? Please don’t tell me it’s him!”When she finally made her way at front, she saw Matt together with Mr. and Mrs. Langston, several steps outside and looking towards one direction, his face grim. Something caught Amarah’s nose and she looked up to see dark, clouds of smoke filling the air as well as hues of dark yellow and orange.Dead bodies, she thought immediately as the sky turned more darker as the fire from afar is getting bigger and spreadi
