Amarah with her body tilting forward, sought some anchorage against the cold tiled wall inside the bathroom of her room with sweaty hands. She let out an erotic moan, her eyes tightly shut as Clayton, or rather Kragen took her from behind. With the shower still running, the small room had been engulfed in steam as well as them.
The two of them moved in tandem with Amarah losing her balance from time to time but would be immediately held by Kragen to keep her from falling. His ragged breathing behind her and rough biting on her skin especially on her neck and shoulders had sent her into titillating delirium.
After finally clearing her thoughts that she will be still mating with Clayton, Amarah had finally relented from her misgivings but told Clayton that she wants to take a nap first, admitting to him that she still felt tired and that the accidental marking on her is still giving her some uncomfortable feelings.
Clayton reluctantly said yes.
Amarah woke
Clayton opened his eyes at the sound of Liam linking at him. He turned towards the window and saw the sun starting to set before looking back at Amarah, who is very much sleeping deeply beside him.“Clay!” Liam linked again firmly. “I’m outside!”“Five minutes,” Clayton responded irritatingly. He gently pulled the covers off him and kissed Amarah on her cheek, watching her snuggling and pulling the cover over her. He smiled as he finally stood up. “I’ll be right out.”He went out of her room, closing the door quietly and went to his, opening his closet and putting on shirt and sweatpants. He didn’t bother putting any boxers, knowing that he’s going to take them off again later. After all those times, Clayton could still not get over Amarah. It’s as if that she is like a very delicious and addictive drink that he wouldn’t mind drinking repeatedly.Clayton opened the
Part III.“We’re almost home.”Amarah opened her eyes when she felt Clayton gently patting her on the cheek. She sat up straightly and looked outside the window from the side of the car she occupied with Clayton.Amarah’s eyes widened as she looked at the sight in front of her. Bordered between a small ocean to the South, huge mountains to the North, a tropical forest by the East and large rock formations at the West, she finally understood why her family’s pack is into weapon smithing as their main source of living. The territory is mostly covered in huge rock formations and mostly has a snowy climate but also has sunny ones, making the members live in stone-thick houses and chimneys, jutting out through the roofs always had smoke coming out during the cold months. The landscape across gives a delightful view with the snowy white trees and silent mountains, showing the brilliance and serenity the land has to offer, whoever w
Clayton followed and walked beside Gabriel Saville and watched as a teary-eyed Amarah was being led by her father towards her waiting family. He watched when the father and daughter finally reached the small gathering and a woman, who Clayton assumed is her mother threw her arms around Amarah and hugged her tightly, tears falling on her cheeks. The rest of the family then followed, and he watched as his mate was being swarm by hugs and kisses, introducing her to the family she is meeting for the first time.He noted, Amarah had never let go of her mother’s hands and that her father and siblings are behind her every step of the way.“Looks like you’ll be sleeping on your own the entire stay here,” Gabriel sneered at him with a chuckle as Amarah was being swamped by her family and relatives. “Don’t worry. I’m sure you’ll be given one of the best accommodations where you’ll be more than comfortable.”&ldqu
Clayton woke up early the following day and stayed flat for a while before sitting up and bringing his legs down the floor. He reached for the glass of water that Amarah had thoughtfully left for him last night before she retired to where she will be sleeping and drank it.He then stretched up and after a while changed into some active clothes before going out of his room.Jacob, and the two Gamma warriors that Bradley had chosen to accompany them, Seth and Oscar are waiting for him outside the villa, where he is currently staying.“How are your accommodations?” Clayton asked after they greeted him.“More than enough,” Jacob answered as he walked beside him with the two flanking their back. “It’s one of the most comfortable beds that I had slept on. Although, their food choices here are limited, I don’t see any problem about it. I’m not picky and can just eat whatever I want.”“It’s
Clayton twirled Amarah underneath his outstretched arm that night and then pulled her close to him, swaying with the beat of the music. He moved his hand from her waist up to her back and kissed the side of her head lightly.“Have I told you that you look beautiful in your dress tonight?” He asked softly. He lowered his head and captured her lips in a gentle and lingering kiss. “I mean, you already look beautiful, sweetheart, even if you’re just wearing a burlap sack.”Amarah smiled up at him as she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.“It was a beautiful wedding, wasn’t it?” She asked gently. “Nicholas’ looking at Diana with so much love in his eyes. He was tearing up as she was walking towards him.”Clayton only hugged her tighter to him.“Tell her, idiot,” Kragen growled at him tersely. "Why aren't you saying it yet?"“Tell her what?” Cl
Clayton walked back towards his villa after talking with Gabriel for almost two hours. With the time it took them to go up the point, by the time the roof of the villa came to Clayton’s view it was already around four in the morning. He let out a yawn and run a hand over his face to remove the sleep that is already filling him.Jacob and the two Gamma warriors stood straight the moment they saw Clayton approached them. The sight of them in front of his villa only means one thing.Amarah is inside and they are guarding and protecting her.“She insisted that she waits for you,” Jacob said softly when he finally reached the front door. “I told him that Gabriel had called you for a meeting and she said that she knows because her father had told her.”“Have you slept?” Clayton asked.“We took turns, Clay,” Jacob assured.Clayton nodded and patted Jacob on the shoulders. “Get some rest,&r
Amarah raised her hand and knocked softly on the door that leads to her father’s office at the main pack house in the grounds later that day just as she was heading out after finishing lunch she had with her mom and Arianna. She waited patiently for his answer to come in.She was on her way back to the villa where she left Clayton behind to get more sleep when her father’s head Gamma warrior, which is an uncle of hers met her and told her that her father wants to see her at his office.“Come in, Amarah,” her father called out.She pushed the door gently and stepped inside. Her eyes widened a bit when she realized that her father was not alone.Charles and Gabriel Saville are inside with him and her brother Nicholas, her father’s Beta and who will be taking off tomorrow with Diana for their weeklong honeymoon. She slowly approached them and sat on the vacant chair beside her brother and looked at them silently, not show
Amarah went out from her father’s office and started walking to wherever her feet is taking her. She thought back of the discussion she had with her family as she continued to walk.“Conrad didn’t just leave?” Amarah asked, aghast at what she heard. She looked at the three older men in disbelief before turning to her brother who nodded to confirm what they said to her. “He was banished, and Clayton was the one who did that?!”“Amarah, what were you told?” Gavin asked expectantly. "Were you told a fabricated story?"“No. I was told not much and I didn’t further ask him,” Amarah answered honestly. She gave them a calm look. “I just read in some books that Conrad left the pack along with some of his faithful followers when the alpha rights was handed to Clayton instead of him.”“It isn’t my place to ask Clayton questions about his family,” she continued. “If
Three years later… Clayton watched anxiously as Amarah breathed in and out as she is clutching his hand tightly on a very early Thursday morning in their room, at his house. He watched as she closed her eyes and tried to control the pain that she is going through right now. “Oh, God, that’s worst,” Amarah finally stated. “You also said the last one was worst,” Clayton countered as he wiped the beads of perspiration on her forehead. “Are you just trying to pacify me? It’s not working, I’m telling you that.” “You’re the one who put this on me,” Amarah teased him with a smile. Clayton stared at her dumbfoundedly. “Amarah, if I knew that I will be going through this as well, I would have waited a little bit more before putting that child in you,” he argued lightly. “I am not ready to go through this process.” That earned a laugh from Matt, who is sitting on one side of the room and patiently monitoring Amarah’s condition. Clayton gave him a good glare. He turned back to his wife, w
“Open your eyes, Amarah.”Amarah opened her eyes and turned towards the voice. She slowly sat up and came face to face with the most beautiful woman she had ever seen in her life. The woman looking back at her has long and thick blond hair that is way past her waist. She had clear and bright honey-gold eyes that are currently staring at her lovingly that goes perfectly well with her beautiful face. A long and pointed nose, round firm cheeks and full rosy lips. She is wearing a glittery silver floor length dress and there is something about her that made Amarah realized who she is staring at.“Oh my goodness!” Amarah exclaimed and she immediately got down on one knee on the floor and placed a fist on her heart. “My apologies for not recognizing you immediately, Goddess Selene.”“You did good, my child,” Selene said.Amarah raised her face towards her when the goddess cupped her chin. She smiled sadly. “I could have done more,” she answered softly. “But I guess I overexerted myself that
Clayton with thick tears in his eyes stood, clenching his fists tightly and watched as the fire slowly crawled up and make its way to Amarah, immediately surrounding her body. He breathed out heavily and felt his mother’s hand on his back, gently comforting him.I love you, my Amarah, he thought in his mind intently.Slowly, as if his own feet have their own brain, he took steps towards the platform until he is only a few feet away. His mother followed behind him and stayed behind his back as the heat being emitted from the fire increases. As the fire started to crawl over her body, he felt a strong gust of wind blowing at them. His mother hugged his arm and buried her face in his back until it subsided. He turned to make sure that she is okay before looking back at the fire.Another gust of wind strongly passed by and it passed directly through the fire.“What the heck -?!” He heard Gabriel from behind exclaimed. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, a strong and blinding light shot down
Gabriel, with his hands inside the pockets of his jacket stared down quietly and intently at Catherine’s tomb. His eyes wandered towards the words written on her white, marble epitaph and he gripped his fists tightly. “Life is not Forever. But LOVE is.” He glanced up a bit when he heard a howl in the air, signifying the end of the mourning period. For Amarah. Instead of the tradition’s usual five days of mourning, King Atticus had decreed that the observation of mourning for Amarah will be extended for two more days. This is because of the influx of wolves from all over the kingdom that wanted to pay their last respects to the Saville woman, who had unselfishly given her all to treat those who needed her help. And it has been seven days as well that Gabriel has been visiting his mate’s tomb and would just stand there for hours without saying anything. Gabriel heard some rustling behind and he raised his head up and waited. “Everyone’s starting to gather at the grounds,” Conrad i
Amarah stared up at the ceiling, breathing slowly and deeply. She turned weakly at the sound of the door opening and as hard it is for her, her lips raised upwards into a smile when she saw Clayton entering the room.“H-Hey,” she called out, raising her hand.Clayton immediately went to her side and clasped her hand, bringing it to his lips and kissing it gently. He sat down on the chair by the bed and looked at her lovingly, his eyes red.“You… You look beautiful,” Clayton said achingly.“Thank you,” she whispered. She coughed lightly and then took a deep breath. “Matt said… Matt said that I’m going to be okay. He told me that I just needed to rest so I can recover all the strength that I had lost.”“You shouldn’t have worked hard,” Clayton only whispered.Amarah reached for his cheek with her other hand.“I-I’m sorry,” she apologized gently. “But I did w-what I needed to do. They need my help.”Clayton clutched both of her hands gently.“W-What time is it?” She whispered softly.“It
The howling roar of rage filled the air as Clayton rushed towards Amarah, catching her in his arms before she had completely hit the ground. His eyes burned with anger and fear as blood started to soak her clothing.Conrad, shocked at what had just happened turned towards the direction and when he saw Anthony Madison, with a triumphant smile on his face, transformed immediately to Magnus and lunged towards him, pinning him on the ground and another fight had ensued. The pack members vacated the area, pulling away any injured warriors. They could hear Magnus growling and tearing the enemy apart and a few minutes later, several Gamma warriors had joined him.“Amarah!” Clayton yelled as he reached for the dagger, which he knew for sure has been dipped in Wolfsbane. “No! No! No!”“Clayton, don’t pull it out!” Jacklyn yelled as she knelt beside him. “Let me do it!”“Stay awake, Amarah,” Clayton stated over and over again as he adjusted his position so that Amarah is lying straight in his a
Clayton watched grimly as the fire consumed the dead bodies of all rogues, the orange flames snaking all over the bodies and omitting the smell of burnt skin, hair and blood. He looked up as three more bodies were added to the pile.“Are the bodies of Fullerton and Madison found?” Clayton asked hardly.“Not yet,” Liam answered. “Gab and the Quartermasters are doing the search as well. If they’re still alive, they will immediately eliminate them.”“Their actions just showed the cowardice in them,” Clayton barked angrily. He turned to his left and looked down at Conrad, leaning on a tree and panting heavily as Bradley and Jacob are tying up a clothing around his stomach. “We need to get you back home.”“I’m alright,” Conrad assured him as he finally stood up. He thumped Clayton on the back. “We need to make sure that those two are dead. We cannot be complacent.”“You were good out there,” Clayton commented seriously. “Seems your five years away from here seemed to have made your skills
Amarah opened her tired and heavy eyes when she heard a howl, more like a battle cry in the air. She immediately sat up straight and then stood up immediately when another sound came. She rushed out the office she occupied to rest for a while, her heart pounding.“What’s happening?!” She demanded loudly as she saw the wolves in the center that are strong enough to check, crowding towards the entrance of the building. She pushed her way in the crowd, her eyes straining to see what they are all looking at. “What’s going out there? Is it Clayton? Please don’t tell me it’s him!”When she finally made her way at front, she saw Matt together with Mr. and Mrs. Langston, several steps outside and looking towards one direction, his face grim. Something caught Amarah’s nose and she looked up to see dark, clouds of smoke filling the air as well as hues of dark yellow and orange.Dead bodies, she thought immediately as the sky turned more darker as the fire from afar is getting bigger and spreadi
Clayton transformed back into his human self after Kragen mercilessly ended the life of the rogue that launched at him a few minutes ago. He grabbed his dagger from the ground and immediately hurled it towards the rogue who is sneaking behind Liam.Liam turned and nodded at him thankfully as he pulled the dagger from the rogue’s head, kicking him back to the ground immediately. He handed the weapon back to Clayton.“The Saville’s had broken their inner defense circle,” Liam mentioned to him as they both thwarted a pack of rogues lunging towards them. He spit on the dead body of one. “Bradley was sent to the center a few minutes ago to have the wound on his side tended.”The battle had spread out all over the land as Clayton’s allied packs took each rogue packs to different directions to weaken the defense. He looked onwards and saw Ian Fullerton and his Beta, moving back and allowing the rogues to attack head on.“Cowards!!!” Clayton yelled at them loudly.Anthony Madison heard his sc
