Theo's eyes snapped open during the night, his heart racing with a sense of urgency that coursed through his veins like wild fire, threatening to consume him.

He looked over at Action, who was still fast asleep beside him, completely oblivious to the turmoil that was brewing inside Theo's mind.

But Theo's attention was focused on the distress call from his wolf, Dark, whose anguished howl vibrated in his mind like a Volcano.

"What's wrong?" Theo asked Dark, his own voice barely above a whisper even though their link, but laced with a sense of fear that made his skin crawl.

"I received a spiritual message from Starlight, " Dark replied, his voice trembling with fear, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Ricky is in danger. The wizards have taken him, and I can sense his fear and panic. We have to act fast, little human. We can't let them harm him." Dark said urgently.

Theo's eyes widened in alarm, his mind racing with thoughts of Ricky and the danger he was in.
