Day 11The next morning Jay brought Mia’s suggestion to his team. Everyone thought it was a great idea and with that much military around her at all times anyone would be stupid to even try something. Day 12The next morning, breakfast was a bit of a sober affair, everyone was going to miss Marie’s cooking, Kevin’s quick humour and Haley, Neil and Troy’s company, they were good people. Mia stood alone with her thoughts, the coffin was about 5 meters from her. Although he wasn’t just a king, he was also her father. A father she had always longed for but never known. The solider ushered Rota from the building straight into the waiting truck. When Mia and Jay got in Rota had collapsed into the soldiers’ arms. Mia let her be. When they got back to the Military Base Jay asked the solider to take Rota back to the ship and ask for Shimel and Lacy, he left straight away, carefully supporting Rota. Jay took a moment to thank the unit and commander. There was a bit of laughter and everyone congratulated Mia her shot. “Just remember, Mia and me and Princess Rota weren’t there for now. Once they were back in their apartments, Jay stood Mia beside their bed and he removed her dress and took her hair out. Mia could feel the anticipation coursing through her heating her core. The Elites began the Banquet and after they were announced Mia and Rota held hands while they walked out to take their seats, Jay was announced next and he followed.
