After planning everything I went to meet Anaira who was currently in Ma’s room. Upon entering the room my heart shattered into a million pieces. Seeing red and puffy eyes, pain engulfed me. Her face was stained with tears stating that she did not stop crying. Her knees were tucked in her chest and her face was held on the knees. Ma was patting her back in an attempt to soothe her. On seeing me entering the room, Ma got up and left, giving us much-needed privacy.
