Chapter 5

Alyssa’s perspective 

           When I was done talking to Noah, he went to find his chief to tell him that he would be coming back to the castle in three days. After Noah left, Avery was going mad wanting her mate Alex and I was starting to miss Noah as well. I was having the morning meeting with the court when Avery told me she was leaving. I started to freak out, asking her why and if I had done something wrong and saying that Noah and Alex would be back in two days. Avery laughed at me, freaking out and said that she was going to see Alex and our parents' wolves and that she would be back before Noah but she needed answers. I asked if I would be able to contact her and she said no but that I would be able to break through the barrier if I was in immediate danger. I told her goodbye and I felt her leave and my mind went blank. I had to space out to talk to my wolf, so when I came to everyone was looking at me, wondering if I was okay. I told them I was and asked them to repeat what they were saying. The nobles were talking about the wolves and how to kill them. Thanks to my werewolf blood, my heart hurt any time the nobles said to kill the wolves. The last time they said it my heart hurt badly enough that I grabbed the neck of my dress and pulled it on. When the nobles asked if I was okay, I held up my hand to silence them and said” I am fine, but back to the topic at hand, no one is to kill a wolf unless they hurt someone and if they do they will be severely punished, do I made myself clear.” The nobles looked, shocked that I would protect wolves but they didn’t know that they were werewolves and that I was one of them but they still nodded their heads yes. After the wolf discussion, we talked about a few more topics and then dismissed the meeting. When the meeting was over, I went to my bedroom and took one of Noah's shirts that I stole before he left out of the closet and layed down on the bed smelling it. Noah's smell always makes me feel safe and relaxed with no care in the world and I think my smell does the same to him, so when he was packing I slipped one of my shirts into his suitcase and I hope he finds it when he needs it. I fell asleep with Noah's shirt, but I woke up to banging on my door and when I went to open it Sarah, my royal advisor and also my best friend fell straight onto my floor. She stood up quickly, screaming in my face about how I let the wolves live and stuff. She wasn’t mad at me, she was really happy that I did it. I could smell that she was a werewolf. Sarah didn’t know I was a werewolf because I was a royal werewolf. I could conceal my scent and presence. 

Alpha Daniels perspective 

         I was in the middle of fucking my Luna, Candace, in the office when I got a mind-link from my son, Noah, telling me he was almost at the pack house and he needed some clothes. When they got back Nelly jumped off an ran to my luna with a very happy face. Alex shifted back to Noah so I handed him a t-shirt and some shorts. When he finished getting dressed he looked staight at me and his mom and said he found his mate. As soon as I heard the news I started asking where she was and what she was like but he told me to calm down and he would explain everthing in a minute because the situation was a little troublesome. I was thinking how could finding a mate be troublesome unless she was human. I calmed down and said we should head up to my office from everyone just to be safe. When we got to my office Noah said his mother, my luna Candace, should be here so he didn’t have to explain everything twice. I agreed with him and mind-linked my luna to come to my office. When my luna got here she walked straight over to me and sat on my lap and I could see longing in my sons eyes telling me he is missing his mate. After my luna as seated comfortable Noah started and told us about how he went to the village and the chef made him a gaurd and that the chef had Noah accompany him to the castle. Noah also told use about his trip to the castle and he had to wait to talk to the queen about the so called wolf problem and about how it took three hours before they could see her. Then he told us about how Alex was going crazy screaming mate and that he could tell she had werewolf blood but was underage. Noah told us about when he was staring at her the cheif started yelling to kill all wolves that enter the village. I let out a growl when I heard that and was yelling that the only reason we even go into the village is because they are killing all the deer and other animals. I was going on a rampage when I felt sparks on my arm and started to calm down. When I sat down I pulled my luna onto my lap and told my son to start again. When Noah started the story again he told us how queen Alyssa said that the village had to share half of its food with the wolves because we have young to feed. Noah also told us about how after the meeting the queen asked them to stay until her birthday to which he said yes too because it was her 18th birthday and he knew she would be shifting.  He told us about how he flipped a table over to sneak Alyssa out of the party to shift and he told us about how her wolf, Avery,  is 7’2 feet tall and was as white as the snow with golden eyes and a black circle on her forehead which was a sign of the royal family. After he gave us time to take in that information. Noah told us about the vision and her powers that she had to unlock and that she has all information about werewolves thanks to a spell that sent all information that she could ever need straight to her head. When the story was over he told us that he can only stay for a few days but then he was going back to the capital because she asked him too and Alex is going crazy wanting his mate. I told him that it was okay that I understood the difficulty of being away from your mate for too long and congratulated him on finding his mate and that she was a royal wolf not to mention the future queen of all werewolves.
