Captured

It's been weeks since Nicole closes her doors to Louie. Marco on the other hand was left hanging because she avoids interacting with him, she wanted to be sure that she is ready to commit to another relationship and doesn't want to be unfair with Marco. Marco still looking after for Nicole by seeing her afar, asking Terrence about her. He knew that Nicole is still healing and wanted space to heal on her own. 

One night, Marco, still misses her, he wanted to pursue her. tried texting her but Nicole didn't respond. Until he came up to an idea to show up on her home. As she arrives home, her mom says she has a visitor to her surprise it is Marco. "What are you doing here?" Nicole asked. "I just want to formally court you and ask permission to your parents." Marco answered. Nicole stared at her mom. "He actually said already that he will marry you as soon as you permit it to." Mom laughingly said. Nicole's heart beat increase immediately as she asked Louie before she wanted to settle down but he refuses it and all of a sudden here is someone whom she didn't have known for so long telling her mom that he wanted to marry her. 

"Are you serious about marrying me? You barely knew me; I am just from a breakup." Nicole said to Marco. Marco stared at her and hold her hand and said "It is sudden I know, but I already loved you since the day I met you, I silently loving you when I am with you, I want to respect you, even I barely knew you, I wanted to spend my entire life with you. Get to know more of you each and every day." Marco tearfully responded. 

Nicole like Marco all along but refuses to admit it as she was afraid to risk herself to love again. But that very night she bravely accepts Marco. They get along in a few months’ time and it seems that their love never fades. Until their finally married each other. It is a happy ever after. Until Nicole gets pregnant and was diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy. It was a depressing part for Nicole. Some months after her major operation she get sick again and found out that she has multiple complication from her surgery. Her doctor checked her thoroughly and found out she has already AIDS and recommended that her husband will undergo HIV testing as well which turns out that Marco has it too. 

"Why is this happening to us? How do I get it? Where do I get it?” Nicole questioned while crying. Marco left speechless and just embrace his wife. It keeps days and months of depression. Nicole disassociated to her friends and would rather stay alone in their home.  Until one very moment Nicole asked Marco "Why didn't you bother to trace where our illness came from?". Marco stared and just hold his wife hand and say "wherever it comes or whomever, it doesn't matter anymore. we need to keep moving forward and face this together." Marco said. 

As Nicole hear those comforting words of Marco, she decided to pursue the treatment the doctor offer to both of them, she wanted to bounce back and wanted to be healthy again. Even though treatments are ongoing, she is still into finding out where it come from, even suspected that she gets it from Marco given that he didn't know him well during their courting period, he seldom talks about his past. Until she stalks all of Marco's ex and she found out nothing. As she continuously doubts, Marco remains pleasant to her, and proves her that whatever they are facing he will never give up on her. Until one day a good friend of Nicole texted her "Did you knew what happened to Louie?" Mike said. Upon reading the text she receives, she immediately suspected that the illness they have come from Louie. She did not respond to Mike but she stalks Louie's F******k profile and she found out the truth that Louie has HIV too. It was so clear to her because Louie had an affair with Rej when they are together.

Guilty of suspecting Marco she approaches her husband with humility. "I'm sorry, all along I doubted you, I forgot your goodness towards me. I'm so sorry." Nicole crying so dearly while embracing Marco. "It is okay I completely understand you, as I've said to you, we will face this together. I will never get tired of loving and understanding you" Marco lovingly responded. 

They undergo treatment, surprisingly Nicole has been able to respond to the treatment and she have her life back. As for Marco, he is on the treatment as well but the result is quite slow compare to Nicole's. They continue to battle the illness, actively promoting awareness towards it and continuing to love each other. Their love grows stronger each day. They cherish every moment with each other, they leave the past behind and start to create new life together hoping that one day they will be free from HIV. Hoping that one day they will able to have children of their own. They realize that marriage is about acceptance, forgiveness and humility towards one another. They live it up to God on how long they will be able to live together. As for today as long God permit them to breathe, they promise each other that they will always choose to be with each other. They now truly understand that marriage is not just having a happily ever after rather marriage is something to work on for, no matter how hard the circumstances it may be or the situation it leads you it is a matter of choice to stay and persevere. 

Years have passed their relationship grew stronger. they be able to have financial stability. They are now bouncing back from the tragedy they have. They are living as normal person again. And finally, Nicole is already pregnant and ready for the new chapter of life with Marco.
