“Let’s forget it... By the way, when are we going to receive the stocks of the MY14 series? She changed the topic.

Cindy, as Purchasing Manager, is the one handling the procurement of products from MY Head Office in America.

“It will arrive by the end of this week. Speaking of, are you going to the midnight launch?” Cindy asked her as she seldom attends this kind of event.

“I’m still thinking about it.”

“You should attend this time. It would be our grandest launch ever. And I heard Harvey Johnson will be one of our new influencers.”

Harvey Johnson is Sam’s greatest celebrity crush. He is one of the most popular actors during this period. Cindy was aware of it, hence she informed her about it trying to persuade her to attend.

Sam’s eyes lit up. She felt elated when she heard that Harvey Johnson will be their new influencer. Meaning, he will be present at their midnight launch. She will be able to see him in person.

“Really? Are you not playing a joke with me?

“Of course not! Why don’t you ask Henry?” Cindy widened her eyes as she put her hand on her waist.

“Alright, I believed you. I guess I’ll be attending the midnight launch this time.” Sam said and grinned while her eyes sparkled. She’s already looking forward to meeting Harvey Johnson personally.

“I knew it!” Cindy already anticipated it.

Days have gone by so fast. The most awaited midnight launch has arrived.

MY Corporation prepared a mini party and short program to entertain their guests and loyal customers. There were finger foods and cocktail drinks arranged and a live band performing as part of the program.

There were a lot of customers falling in line already. They were so excited to buy the new MY14 model.

There were paid vloggers and representatives from the media as well.

Sam and Cindy went together to the event.

They were looking around to check that everything goes smoothly. They also welcomed some guests from banks and some corporate clients to give brief information about the MY14 series.

Suddenly, Sam saw a familiar image. Her face blushed when she saw Harvey Johnson.

‘He’s more handsome in person.’ She thought.

He has a tall figure and masculine body that excellently fit his fair smooth skin. His

expressive round eyes and thick brows made him more good-looking.

On one hand, Henry was busy entertaining guests from media and other influencers when he saw Harvey. He directly approached and welcomed him.

On the other hand, Charles was also busy welcoming all VIP guests. As the new CEO of MY Corporation, their friends and colleagues in the Corporate world are also anticipating the launch of the MY14 series.

There were vloggers as well featuring the MY14 series on their vlogs while the media representatives were taking stolen and candid shots.

After Sam and Cindy made sure that everything was in place, they relaxed a bit. They got some finger foods and tequila.

They were busy chatting when they heard Henry’s voice behind them. They both turned their head.

Henry brought along Harvey Johnson and other influencers to get some drinks when he saw them.

“Oh, hi Sam! I was not expecting that you would come. By the way, this is our Finance Manager, Samantha Wilson, and Purchasing Manager, Cindy Smith.”

Henry introduced them to the influencers including Harvey.

Harvey smiled at them showing his remarkable straight white teeth.

“Hi, nice to meet you. It seems that most employees of MY Corporation are beautiful.”

He flattered them with his comment while he gazes at Sam. He was mesmerized by her beauty.

Sam was wearing a simple creamy white casual dress. She put light makeup that suits the occasion. Her long thick eyelashes perfectly matched her almond-shaped bright eyes. While she let her long black silky hair down her shoulders that made her more attractive.

Henry did not notice as he was occupied by the other influencers. He also left in a while as he had some matters to attend to.

“You’re too kind, Mr. Johnson. I’m sure you’ve met so many more beautiful people than us.” Sam smiled slightly.

“Maybe, but I am more impressed by natural beauty.” He said meaningfully.

Yes, there were a lot of beautiful celebrities but most of them wear heavy makeup while some had undergone plastic surgeries in order to look beautiful and young.

Sam and Cindy understood what he meant. They just smiled and nodded in agreement.

“Sam, I’ll just go to the restroom.” Cindy excused herself.

Sam knew that Cindy deliberately leaves her alone with Harvey.

Harvey noticed that her glass was empty so he gave her another glass. She was going to refuse but she did not want to offend him so she accepted it.

During their conversation, Sam discovered that Harvey has a great sense of humor and has his funny sides too. As time passed by, she did not notice that she drank quite a lot.

Meanwhile, Charles caught sight of Sam busy chatting with Harvey. He also noticed her pinkish cheeks due to the effect of alcohol. He immediately went over in their direction with a dark expression.

“Ms. Wilson, may I have a minute with you? Mr. Johnson, please excuse us.”

“Sure,” Harvey replied.

Charles brought her in the back room. Sam already felt a little dizzy so she sat on the couch as soon as they entered the room.

“What are you doing just now? How many glasses of tequila did you drink?” He asked angrily.

Charles knew that Sam was a light drinker. That’s why, when he noticed that she was already drunk, he came to rescue her.

“What reaction was that? Don’t act as if you’re my boyfriend.” Sam was evidently tipsy as she replied.

Charles could not hold himself anymore. He instantly went over to the couch and held her waist. Then, he pressed his lips against her before she could react. He extremely wanted to kiss her since the day he returned.
