Chapter 75
After Sam entered the house, she hurriedly went to the room where Charles was sleeping. She saw him with a pale face that looks distressed and with scrape wounds on the areas where he has been tied up. She imagined how much he struggled to loosen the ropes.
“Charles,” Sam uttered as soon as she got near him. She tried to wake him up but he was still sleeping soundly.
Hence, she tried to untie him but the ropes were tightly bound. So she searched for something to use to cut the rope until she saw a knife in the kitchen.
Sam does not waste any second as she knows that Kelly would return anytime. However, it took her a while to untie one of the ropes. Aside from several ropes coiled up, she could not spend so much force using her left arm.
After she was done with Charles’s one hand, she tried again to wake him up.
