A FRAGILE DECISION

The entire weapon room carried the smell of iron and I couldn't tell if it was the weapons hanging around or the blood-stained swords discarded at the front of the room. I hit my foot against a small helmet laying on the floor and winced softly.

This place really needed a clean up.

Carefully stepping over the rusting weapons casually laying on the floor, I made my way to the other end of the room where most of the arsenals were. It also was more cleaner there and the stinging metallic smell seemed to dosippate slowly as I headed in that direction.

"Thanks for letting me tag along, Alexander."

"I don't think I had a choice."

A small smile tugged at my lips as I turned from the alpha to the cluster of weapons hung on the shelf in front of me. I grazed through the shelf, my eyes scanning the blades there. One caught my eyes and I made to reach for it when Alexander stopped me.
