The bar II

“Let’s do another one!” the bartender yelled. “What has two feet and hops but can’t walk straight?”

“Kangaroo!” I yelled.

“Chicken with disabilities!” yelled Conan as I laughed.

“That’s not a thing.”

“Yes it is. I’ve seen one back at the pack. It was a funny sight. Little fella couldn’t walk.”

We argued on and on about the answer and I won again.

For almost two hours after the bartender had led us away from the beach, we had been in the bar playing a game of question and answer. It had been nice having to stay with someone that wasn't a werewolf but was an ordinary human.

I learned new things about his culture and his life during the game.

People came and watched us playing. Some joined and left while some stayed but got drunk and slept off. We on the other hand stayed for hours playing.

The man got tired as he laid in his seat laughing and banging the table between us.

“I’m glad I bumped into you guys,” he sniffed while cleaning his eyes from the tears he had been holding back.
