I stared at the two of them with shock on my face. This was not what I had meant when I told them to get into the pack.

I had expected that they would get into the pack and maybe get information about the pack and get out, but taking up a guards uniform was a risky move.

“Kill them!” she yelled. “What are you waiting for?!”

I looked at the woman and shook my head.

“I won’t do that,” I sighed. “Instead I’ll take them to my own pack and punish them in my way.”

She chuckled. “You sent spies into my pack and you think I wouldn’t find out? What kind of stupid wolf can’t tell the difference between an imposter and a real pack member?”

“I’ve done your quest,” I sighed. “I killed your monster and I have gotten back what I needed from you, my scientists. Now let us go without trouble.”

“You know what? I actually remember the exact thing I had promised that I would do. I said I would let you go and not your friends
