“We just want to talk, Jade,” Trina smiled. “How about you sit with us and hear us out? If you don’t like what we have to say then you can leave but don’t leave without hearing us out.”

She was one to talk. She wasn’t there when I was getting kicked out. She was the worst.

“Please,” begged the man beside his Luna. They weren’t hostile so there was no need for us to be hostile myself.

“You have a few minutes to say what you want to say before I’m out of here,” I said.

I looked around to make sure I wasn’t going to get jumped by anybody. I didn’t trust anybody. Brad and Trina were not to be trusted.

“You still don’t trust us?” He asked. “I haven’t done anything yet to make you not trust me.”

He was right.

I walked to sit at the table he was sitting at.

I had a few minutes to hear what he had to say anyway.

“Tea?” Trina offered but I refused. “Straight to business I see.”
