Jade
“We just want to talk, Jade,” Trina smiled. “How about you sit with us and hear us out? If you don’t like what we have to say then you can leave but don’t leave without hearing us out.”She was one to talk. She wasn’t there when I was getting kicked out. She was the worst.“Please,” begged the man beside his Luna. They weren’t hostile so there was no need for us to be hostile myself.“You have a few minutes to say what you want to say before I’m out of here,” I said.I looked around to make sure I wasn’t going to get jumped by anybody. I didn’t trust anybody. Brad and Trina were not to be trusted.“You still don’t trust us?” He asked. “I haven’t done anything yet to make you not trust me.”He was right.I walked to sit at the table he was sitting at.I had a few minutes to hear what he had to say anyway.“Tea?” Trina offered but I refused. “Straight to business I see.”“Why am I hBradI could remember talking to my spies and they had told me the children were mine. That was my leverage against this woman. For now, I would get into her head until I found the perfect angle to bring up my children’s custody to her. She would not refuse me from being in their lives. I was their father, they would want me in their lives. “So… I know this is hard for you to accept,” Trina smiled. “Your boyfriend being a villain and all.”“He is not my boyfriend!” Jade growled as I turned to hold Trina’s hand, shaking my head to not provoke her any further. We needed her on our side if we wanted to win the case against her and Conan. I was not going to leave the children in their custody. Conan would not raise my children. But I would need to be careful. Going overboard with my points could cause Jade to act in a stubborn way.If I was going to get what I wanted from her, I would need to be very careful and apply little pressure to not scare her off.“Forgive Trina,” I turned to fa
Jade’s POV“You can’t tell me you’re fine and show up here looking unhappy,” he said, walking to hold my hands in his. “Did anything happen while you were there? Did you see anyone? Were you threatened?”“Yeah,” I said. “In fact, to make it up to you for being such a downer, how about we go to a beach and spend some time alone there?”His face lit up which told me he liked the idea of doing that. “What about the children?” he asked.“They can stay at the palace. It’s going to be for two days. I’m sure they’ll be fine.”“Are you sure? You just got them back and you’re willing to let them stay on their own.”“Relax, you think too much.”I engaged him into a kissing match before dropping him in bed.He was excited but I wasn’t. I didn’t want him to suspect anything, so I would do anything to make sure my tracks were clear. We made out for a few more minutes before a knock on the door and a voice notifying of an elder meeting separated us.“I’ll be back,” he promised and I nodded just as
JadeI woke up in a dimly lit warehouse, all around me were stacks of empty crates which reached the ceiling. Before me were two guards with guns. What were they doing here? Where was I? There were so many questions I needed answers to but I couldn’t find the answers to them.“Ugh,” I heard Conan groan beside me and I found him in worse shape than I was in.His body had blood over it but I knew he must have healed back.He was Conan, he wasn’t easily taken down. This whole capture of a thing was all a part of my plan. I had thought it up very well and shared it with Brad and Trina so they would easily understand it.Conan and I would be drugged and taken into custody by the kidnappers, I would ask Conan questions with the kidnapper and he would answer truthfully, admitting to his crimes. After he would confess, Brad would show up and tell him that he would pay for his crimes in the court of the pack. That was how it should be. Now I had to wait for the fake leader of the kidnappers to
JadeThe pictures were that of Conan with the children which he had kidnapped.“This was when you kidnapped the children,” said Brad. “You know how funny it is when you show up in our lives and you try to destroy something you never had. It’s very funny. Those children are not yours but you tried to destroy my life with my own flesh and blood, by turning Jade against me.”“What are you talking about?” Conan asked.“You kidnapped the children and sent Jade to love me. You sent her to love me and reel me back into her life seeing as we had history together and to do that you knew she wouldn’t do it to a complete stranger so you decided to hold her captive by taking her children into your hold. “This gave you the right opportunity to hold onto her, while she tried earning my trust and everything. When that finally worked, you had her break me and embarrass me in front of the entire pack. That was your plan all along. “Just say it. We already know how dangerous you can be. All that stuf
JadeWhen I realized my tactic wasn’t working and he wasn’t telling me the truth, I resorted to acting like I knew all his tricks.“You know,” I sighed to my feet to face him. “For someone who was supposed to be my peace you really brought a lot of pain to me.”“Jade,” he sighed.“No,” I raised my hand. “Don’t you dare call me. You were supposed to be on my side. You were supposed to help me. You were supposed to be my friend and my partner. Instead you were nothing to me. How could you kidnap my children?! “Either way, I knew about your plots and now you’re going to pay for hurting me. For hurting my children. You are going to pay for everything. For my children, for the pack…”“The pack?” he asked in surprise. “What are you talking about?”“You knew I was the heir to the throne in the pack and that was why you approached me. You wanted me to be in your favor so you acted like you rescued me. Do you think I don’t see through your tricks? You wanted to see a way to be alpha since you
JadeI punched the gate with the chain around my hand acting as a cushion. It didn’t budge so I resorted to using my brute strength to tear open the chain but it didn’t work.By this time, the water had gone up to my ankle which had me struggling against the gate with all my strength. I had to break open this or we would drown.“Conan!” I yelled out to the man who had already passed out. His hands were laid out by his side like he was dead. “Conan don’t you dare die on me!”But there was no answer from him.I looked ahead to see that the water from the tap had increased its intensity, pouring out and even cracking the walls around it.“Shoot, it’s gonna blow,” I muttered just before it exploded from the wall, letting out a blast of water. We were going to die here, I thought, which gave me enough strength to zip to the walls, punching the tiles out. It hurt my hand and I bled out but I didn’t care. If I let those crazy people walk to the pack, they would take custody of my children an
Conan“You shouldn’t blame yourself for what Brad has done.” I said to her. “You should blame Brad for what he has done. Don’t you worry about anything. I’ll get rid of Brad and get him away from our children. He won’t be touching the pack or the children. If he tries it, I’ll make sure he has no head to think with anymore.”I felt her freeze up in my embrace but I was serious when I said that. Brad had been my target from day one. Not jade or Trina but Brad.Everything he was doing was just halting his doom by a few seconds and nothing more. He was still just a man who would be dead if I wanted him dead. For now, I was going to relax and be with Jade for as long as possible for being with her healed my body.I didn't like fighting with her. She made me happy. The trip to the beach house had been a wonderful time for me. I didn’t know she was holding back because she didn’t trust me. If I had known about that I would have changed a lot and tried to make her trust me but now we had pa
ConanI didn’t leave out the part where her mother had betrothed Jade to me before passing away. This has made me very protective of the girl when we were little. How she had gone missing and I had saved her, risking my life to make sure she was safe and how I had met my twin brother who so happened to be Brad.“By the goddess,” she gasped as I chuckled, floating around with her.“I know. I don’t expect you to believe me but that happened. Brad is my twin brother. We might not look alike because he tried to kill me which didn’t work so he resorted to other methods so yeah, the throne he’s currently occupying belongs to me as the first born son of the throne.”“You could have easily gone back to reclaim your throne seeing as you knew your home,” she said.I pointed to my face with a laugh. “Have you seen this face? I doubt anyone would see me and instantly want me on any poster as their king. Sure as the jester but not as their king. I’m not worried about that. I only wanted to be a go
ConanI had won the fight between Brad and I. The fight which had spanned over years and decades and finally came up victorious. He returned to his human self as I did the same. I looked around to see the grounds which had been broken and filled with blood and machines.“All of this just to take me down,” I chuckled as he slowly healed and sat up, but he was too tired to do anything.“Don’t flatter yourself,” he coughed up a tooth. “It was for an entire country.”“And yet I took down your entire army single-handedly.”He growled at me. “Who are you? What kind of monster are you?”“The monster that you created, Brad!” I yelled in anger. “I used to have a home, a family, a mother and a father who loved me. I used to have a brother I thought was my better half but he turned out to be a monster.”Suddenly he got the hint of what I was saying as his eyes widened. “Yes Brad, we are both siblings. You were supposed to be my brother, my friend and the one who would watch my back. Instead you
ConanI stared at the robots before me that had halted, before looking at Brad, Trina and a strange lady in a snowy pack uniform. She had to be the one controlling these beasts. She stepped forward with a devious smile on her face.“You were the one who put my sister in a body bag,” she laughed. “You beat her so much she could not survive, so she succumbed to her wounds. That was my younger sister. I am going to make sure these machines deal so much damage to you, you wouldn’t even feel your jaw by the time they dislocate your body parts with punches.”I yawned. “You show up at my doorstep intending to have a war with me. I think we should start this war before arguing over who is stronger and who is not.”She laughed. “A feisty man I see. Very well. Let’s see how feisty you will be by the time they are done with you.”She pushed a button as the robots all turned to me.I counted at least twenty robots. The last
JadeI had not seen this coming. Now I knew we were really screwed. Conan has struggled against one of these creatures before being jumped by multiple. None of us could stand against this creature. It was too powerful for us to fight. We had to run out of here and give up the pack.“What is that thing?” a general gasped with the other warriors on the field watching this strange creature walk towards us.It seemed to have a few minor upgrades. Its arms were now made of iron, it wasn’t seven or eight foot tall like the last time. It had a sleek design but this was made to rival alpha’s and I was sure all of these new designs made it lighter and faster.“We need to get back to the pack and get everyone to safety,” I noted. “If we stay here we are going to die and lose everything. We need to get the people in the pack to safety first.”But the generals were still fascinated by what they were seeing.“General!
Jade“Good luck,” she hugged me. “And make sure you don’t die or I will kill you myself.”I wasn’t going to argue with her on how ridiculous that was but instead I would leave her to her thoughts.I headed out with the generals and the elders all wearing their armors. Our army had gone ahead of us to halt them ahead of time before they would get into the pack. If they got in, it was over. They would destroy our pack and kill our civilians too.We had nowhere to run or hide, this pack was all we had going for us.“So… have we sent word to our allies?” I asked while we rode in the battle van to the battlefield.“No one responded so it’s either they haven’t seen the message yet or they don’t want help. Either way we are on our own,” an elder responded. That was a strange thing. Every alpha was supposed to respond to a distress call from another alpha. It was an unwritten rule, unless the two packs had a silent war going on between them.We got to the field and I found how deadly it was.
Brad“That’s because you might be extremely cheap with the way you were banging her throughout. But you should know this,” she threatened. “The next time you sleep with someone else is the day I leave you for someone better and take all my forces with me. Do you hear me?”I could easily push her away but Trina had one of the best land forces who could fight even dangerous rogues without breaking a sweat and I needed them by my side. I had no choice but to accept her decision.“Yes,” I said. A knock came on the door as I opened it to find a maid there.“What is it?” I asked.“There is a call for you on line three.”I slammed the door on her face, zipping to take up the call.“Hello,” I said.“Conan is out of the game,” the voice said. “He’s been in a coma in the hospital for days now. I don’t think he’s going to make it out alive.”This gave me hope for my invasion. With Conan out of the equation, I would kill off his pack without difficulty. He was the greatest asset his pack had.*
Brad“Well,” I smiled, spreading my arms. “There goes my element of surprise.”“Oh please,” she stood up, zipping to stand before me. “I wasn’t expecting anyone to show up.”She brought her face too close to mine and her cold breath hit my hot face. The tension between us climbed to greater heights before she grabbed my hand and zipped me to a room where I tore her clothes and she removed mine.I was inside her within minutes while she moaned and we broke the bed with our combined force. When we were done, we laid in the mess we had created, fascinated by each other's strengths.“Does your wife give you sex the way I give you?” she smirked naughtily which had me kissing her breast before sitting up.“She’s not to be in this conversation,” I said. I hated having intimate discussions with those I slept with. They were not to know about my immediate family. That was something I should keep away from us. “I see you don’t want to talk about her. Very well then, why are you in my pack?“I c
BradI paced around the bedroom, wondering why my men weren’t picking up their calls.“Do you think they panicked and chewed the pill?” Trina asked.“That’s their own business.”“You held their wives and children captive and told them to track and take back your children or you would kill them. They could take the pill just to save their children.”I didn’t care about the dead. What I wanted now was a way to get back my children. If that was not going to be possible then there was only one thing to do. I would have to get back to the snow pack and make an alliance with them. I was sure they would want to know who had almost killed their queen.“I’ll be back,” I said, leaving her in the room as I headed for the garage to get into my car and drive off.The desert wolves were about to learn the meaning of what surrender looked like.I would first take back my back from the hands of my conquerors and then tear down their packs. After that, I would head for Conan’s pack and kill him and J
JadeShe cleaned a tear which fell off her eye, trailing a line down to her cheek. This must have been a very painful experience for her but I was still wondering why she was telling me this story.“I left him and headed out of town to come here,” she sighed. “The last time I checked on him, he was married to a fellow werewolf with four children and leading his pack as a warrior and the most feared one in his pack. I have wondered over the years if maybe if I had stayed with him, would I have brought him peace or agony?”“The only way to have known anything about that would have been you trying to get back with him and working your differences,” I smiled, now knowing what she was bringing the story for.“Exactly,” she smiled. “Now that’s the same thing for you and Conan. Instead of leaving him where he is in the hospital and running off in the model of the night like I did, not knowing if you were meant for him or not, you can work out your differences with him. “I recently found out
JadeI told her everything about what had happened and throughout my entire story, she didn’t interrupt me or say anything that distracted me.She was the only human friend I had made who actually listened to me. She was different from most of the people I had met.Even werewolves were not as good as she was. When I was done, she smiled at me, dragging me in for a hug while placing my head on her shoulder.“I’m very sure he wouldn’t listen to my pleas,” I sighed. “He probably hates me right now. I’m sure of it.”“No he doesn’t,” she sighed. “You have to talk to someone to know their true intentions.”“I don’t know about that. I’m sure he hates me. I betrayed him, Helena. I brought him to his knees. That’s not how a mate should behave. I should help him and not destroy him. I destroyed him.”My voice cracked while I let her go, standing to my feet to pace around the room.“And do you want to know the worst part of all of this?” I asked as she shook her head. “It’s the part where when
