Alexander's POV

The thought of me not getting married to Sofia made me furious but the day had to go well with nothing going wrong. It was my chance to finally prove myself that I can handle the affairs of a pack and I am ready for it.

I was quite excited when that omega didn't notice we were mates but I should have just used her right there to make sure they don't make me marry a substitute bride from the Ravenstone family.

I was surprised when I saw the same lady who was in my bed yesterday staring at me like she's seen a ghost. Immediately I was crowned, I began greeting everyone around with my eyes not leaving her direction and she was definitely staring at me in surprise too.

"Meet me on the balcony." I mind linked her immediately due to the access I have as an alpha and she definitely didn't have her link connection protected from outside voices.

I walked to the balcony and in after a few minutes, she joined me on the balcony. "Don't tell me you're stalking me." I brought my palm to my face and she looked at me with a disgusted expression which was new for ladies.

"I would rather spend my time on something better." She hissed which pissed me really but all I did was jam my hands in my pockets.

"You're quite sharped mouth for an ordinary omega who would ekav herself for a stranger to have her." I mocked. "You're a disIsabel to the Ravenstone family and I wonder how someone like you gained access into the family. Or let me guess, you were adopted and given the life you have now so you being the young miss now that you're the only lady in the mansion, you think you can talk to anyone the way you like?"

She didn't say anything after that and I handed her a file which my bodyguard already dropped on the balcony before her arrival. "Sign the papers. We would definitely be getting engaged and I can't allow that after Sofia returns. So immediately she comes, we divorce."

She picked the pen and file as she scanned through the content before signing. "I should take my leave now Alpha Alexander. I don't want to keep grandfather worried about me." She said like an obedient little puppy before walking away which really surprised me.

I picked the file and tossed it at my bodyguard before walking back into the hall and the first people I came across were the Ravenstone family.

"Alexander. It's nice to have you back in the pack. It's been quite a while son. You've grown so much." Old man Ravenstone said with a bright smile on his face and I squatted before him to give him a hug.

"It's good to be back grandfather." I said with a bright smile. "But it is quite disappointing that I didn't meet Sofia. I really looked forward to meeting her after my time away."

I could feel my heart sink deeper and deeper every time I said that name. It hurts so much that she would leave when I decided to come and take back the position for her to rule by myself.

"No need to worry son." Madam Isabel said as she hugged me and patted my back gently. "Sofia will return soon. Maybe before your official marriage with Judy."

I looked at her who was standing behind Old man Ravenstone's wheelchair. "Lavender is a very sweet girl and I'm sure you will like her as soon as you get to know her more."

Lavender? That was Sofia's favourite flower when we were kids. I shook my head to get her thoughts back in their safe place tonight. I didn't want to be overwhelmed by her emotions.

I've waited for over fifteen years to finally come back home to meet her and now she won't even wait till I come. She already escaped, with another man.

"Maybe you and Lavender should get to know each other more." Old man Ravenstone suggested but I knew I had to slip from the idea quickly.

"I still have some men to meet and I'm not sure it's a convenient time." I replied but Madam Isabel interfered and I knew nothing could be won again.

"Then both of you should meet during lunch tomorrow. I will be coming to have tea with Luna Quinn so it won't be a problem." She said and I reluctantly agreed but another thing caught my attention which immediately made me excuse myself from the Ravenstone family.

"Father." I walked over to Alpha Quinn who looked at me with a raised brow. "Did you invite Blood moon's alpha?"

"You know it's a country wife ceremony, and it would be a bit weird not to invite even the enemies even though they might cause trouble." He said and I brought my palm to my face.

"Out of all men, not Jack father." I growled gently and he looked at me with a frown.

"No matter what, he is still family. He is honouring you by visiting on the day of your coronation. It is part of every pack's rules not to cause trouble at a time like this so no need to worry about anything."

"Now he's family when he isn't useless? You didn't see him as someone worthy right from the start and now he is?" I raised a brow with an unbelievable expression.

"Don't start now Alexander. We are in a place with different visitors so know how to control yourself." He snarled and Luna Quinn walked over to us. I just turned to leave and the first person I ate my eyes on annoyed me to the core.

"Why don't you want me here brother? Is there something I'm missing? Or is it because you're now an alpha and my pack can easily attack you more?"

Judy's POV

I charged at the wolf that was standing before me with all the speed I could summon in me but it was of no use. Before I could reach him, he already jumped at me and tackled me to the ground.

"That's enough." A voice called. "Miss Judy, you should train on your stamina more."

It was mu coach, Spencer. I sank to the floor defeated. All my classes, I never progressed. I was just too weak and useless.

"Aww, is someone feeling weak and useless again?" I heard the voice I didn't want to hear at all because I haven't gotten over her betrayal.

"What is it that you want Ella?" I stood and turned to look at her.

"Well, seems like you forget we have the same coach and you choose us the same time to meet Judy. Has your memory gone with your shattered heart?" She said mockingly and I tried my best not to clench my fist and hit her with it.

"How could you do that to me Ella?" I said to her with angry tears stinging my eyes. "I trusted you Ella. I thought you were my friend but all you did was take him from me and you know how much I love Morgan Ella."

"Well, last time I checked Judy, he isn't your property. He wouldn't settle for a low class like you who just luckily wandered into the Ravenstone family." She rolled her eyes. When i heard the same from Alexander the previous day, it did sting my heart badly but I had to swallow the pain it caused me.

"I don't care if I had to sacrifice our friendship for anything because it is what I want before anything and I was Morgan, so I will have him. Deal with it. You might be the soon to be Luna but I'm telling you, once Alexander finds Sofia, you'll be as good as nothing. You'll see how worthless you are and why even Morgan easily left you for me." She said with a evil chuckle and it anhded me but I carried my bag and turned to leave.

"You won't let her go that easily would you?" I heard Alexander's voice and at first I thought it was a truck before he walked right to Ella with deadly glares in his eyes. "You can bully anyone you like, but not those under my watch. If this repeats itself, you and your father would find yourself out of this pack for good."

Alexander didn't even look back at me as he walked by me again. It was just like he was there to out her in her oakce and he just left like that, like he didn't even see me at all.

A sigh escaped my lips as I was taken back to the mansion where all my stuffs were packed already and I had to prepare to leave for the pack mansion.

"Do I seriously have to leave?" I asked grandfather as the guards arranged my things in the car. I didn't want to leave the Ravenstone family mansion not because of anything but my fear of how they would treat me when I get to the pack house.

Alexander himself prefers Sofia and there's a great chance that everyone would view me as someone trying to steal Sofia's place. I also wanted to know what was goinon between the two because I've never seen them meet since I arrived at Silver Moon pack years back.

"I know you're scared lavender but trust me, they'll treat you well, even than you imagined."

"This way ma'am." The butler said immediately I got out of the limousine in the pack house. "I'm Bruce, and I'll be taking you on a your in Alpha Alexander's quarters."

"Alpha Alexander asked me to strictly tell you to avoid his path as long s you're here because of reasons you might want to ask him about if you're chanced to do so." Bruce said and walked me round the whole quarters before taking me to the room i would be staying in.

"This is your room ma'am. This is the door leading to Alpha Alexander's room from your room but I will advise you not to step into that door ma'am. This room was meant to be his lover's room but because Luna Quinn insisted, he agreed you stayed there." Bruce explained everything to me I'm detailed and I could already tell Alexander didn't want me at all. He didn't want anything to do with me.

"Also, you will be having your meals in that garden ma'am, unless there is a family meal to eat together, you will go to the main quarter to eat."

"Thank you very much for your explanation Bruce. I understand." I replied and he bowed his head in curtsey before walking towards the door.

"Please ma, if you need anything, let us know." He said and I hummed before he closed the door before him.

I looked around the whole room and it looked like it had just been renovated except from the pictures in the frame cupboard which was covered with glass so one could see from the outside.

The first picture I saw made me even more curious about Alexander and Sofia. They were kids, not yet up to ten or already ten and Alexander was giving Sofia a piggyback and they both looked excited on the beach where they stood.

I knew their relationship might be from childhood but I needed the full story.

"Get away from the pictures." I heard a cold voice and I saw Alexander there at the door and I quickly stepped back. "This is your room whenever I'm not around but we share the same room because we're together. When it's night, come in. And don't touch anything in my room or those pictures. Don't even see them."

Sprucekit loved the morning sun. It felt warm against her thin pelt. A few clouds drifted by as fierce winds pulled at her fur. The day was going to be cold. With leafbare in full swing the Clan was trying to keep warm by huddling together during the coldest nights. Being the only kit in the nursery meant that Sprucekit had more attention than usual from both her mother and Palemist, a queen who was close to giving birth. The tiny kit remembered what Larksong had told her about her father. Leopardheart had been brave and foolish at the same time. He gave his life defending the Clan honorably. The Clan still mourned over his death, especially Larksong.I wish I knew what he looked like, Sprucekit thought as she stretched out her back. She knew very little about what Leopardheart looked like. Larksong only told Sprucekit stories about the battles that her father had fought in."Hey Sprucekit, I brought you something to eat!"Sprucekit's ears pricked forward when she heard Antpaw approac

Jealousy coursed through the young kit as he watched behind the screen of lichen. In front of him were three young apprentices that were preparing to leave for their training. The Clan had left when she was strong enough to make it on her own. As an only kit in the nursery it had been difficult providing happiness for herself or her mother. Now the Clan had been forced to leave as their home was invaded by rogues from Twolegplace. Birdkit had seen them the night the Clan left. They were big rogues that were bloodthirsty enough to take on an entire Clan. Emberstar didn't want to take any chances with the rogues, especially after the prophecy he had received from Dewstep. The Clan of sky must return to make five, Birdkit thought as she recalled what Dewstep had said. Wind buffeted against Smoke's fur as she followed her mother down the mountains. Why her mother had chosen to leave their nest during the coldest part of leafbare was beyond Smoke's imagination. She hated the cold weather and wished they were back in their small cave. At least being surrounded by her siblings had made her feel warm. Now they were vulnerable from attacks on either side and the cold. They were heading towards what Smoke's mother had called the Horseplace. Apparently it was a safer spot than the mountains could provide. Smoke wasn't even sure what a 'Horseplace' was or what it would look like when they got there. All she knew was that she and her siblings had been forced out in the open. And that thought left her feeling uneasy as she glanced over her shoulder at every noise she heard. They were still at odds over how to handle that particular situation. He knew something needed to be done to preserve SkyClan. They deserved that much after everything they had been through. He saw a light flicker across Birdflight's eyes, signaling that she had been thinking the same thing. Since she was directly involved with the prophecy, her concern made sense.I'm supposed to be Thunder, which means that I have to worry about my Clan as well, he reminded himself. He wouldn't let that stop him from worrying about the other Clans though, especially with cats like Icestar and Russetstar in charge. There was so much they had to learn about their past lives. Between that and everything else, he didn't know what was more overwhelming."We still haven't figured out who Shadow's descendant is," Spruceleaf meowed. Flamestrike agreed with her fullheartedly. There was so little communication with ShadowClan these days. He suspected Russetstar's alliance with Icestar had something to do with

Unease rippled through the Clan when the Gathering ended. For the first time since this venture started, Flamestrike suddenly felt overwhelmed with a sense of foreboding. He knew going into this that the other Clans would refuse to accept SkyClan as a fifth Clan. Life around the lake was already difficult enough without another Clan adding to the challenges. With leafbare in full swing none of the Clans would accept the fact that they had even more competition. Now ThunderClan was left to pick up the pieces and decide what to do with the newcomers. They couldn't stay on the farm forever. Too many cats would drawl unwanted attention from curious Twolegs or dogs. Flamestrike was well aware of the fact that the farm was abandoned, but that didn't mean it wasn't too close to Twolegplace. He couldn't shake off the feeling that SkyClan was in danger regardless of where they stayed. Will they ever felt welcome anywhere? he wondered.Guilt stabbed him in the chest at the thought. Birdpaw ducked her head in embarrassment. She wasn't sure how that worked. Spruceleaf mentioned that her own scent would have washed away by the time they met. Her uncle and his mate didn't smell anything like a Clan cat; they spent too much time rolling around in the hay for her to recognize WindClan's scent. She simply recognized it from somewhere, though she couldn't explain how."To be fair I was at the Gathering the other night," she tried defending herself. They would have also picked up WindClan's scent if that's the case, a voice argued with. You will have to come up with a better excuse if you want them to believe you.Thankfully they didn't dwell on the topic. Birdpaw glanced over her shoulder nervously when she picked up their scent again in the wind. She remembered what Spruceleaf said about how hostile WindClan had been lately, especially to those outside the Clans. While SkyClan was technically still a Clan, that didn't mean the other Clans believed them. Her tail lashed

Or the fact that several others didn't believe Emberstar's story. What's going to happen if they reject us? she wondered.Flamestrike stood close beside her, tail wrapping around her almost protectively. Birdpaw glanced at him warily, suddenly aware of how much danger she and her Clanmates were in. The only consolation they had was the fact that the Gathering was a peaceful setting. If the Clans started fighting, StarClan would surely disapprove."This Gathering is over!" Smokefrost watched through narrowed eyes as the WindClan cats picked up the remaining prey from the fresh-kill pile. The other ShadowClan warriors gathered around the clearing were equally uneasy allowing enemy warriors in their camp. What made it worse was the fact that they were allowing these cats to take fresh-kill needed for the rest of the Clan.Russetstar claimed it was necessary for the alliance he formed with Icestar. Though Smokefrost suspected this was Icestar's doing. Unease crawled through her at the thought of letting them get away with such atrocities. With leafbare now in full-swing, the last thing the Clan could afford was losing fresh-kill. Another blanket of snow covered the forest, making hunting more difficult than it already was. Most of the prey was hiding in their burrows or nests, and Smokefrost couldn't blame them for wanting to avoid the cold."I still don't get why this is necessary," Talonclaw muttered under his breath. The sounds of waves lapping against the shore were oddly soothing as Reedriver trotted along the bank. Above him lay a blanket of stars and a clawmark of a moon. In spite of the faint light the moon provided, it was clearly cold. A shiver swept through him as the chills of leafbare became prominent. He knew it was inevitable. The first snow had already fallen just a couple of days ago since he returned. Since that fateful day he tried putting the past behind him. Cats questioned where he went and why he was gone for so long. Minnowstar herself had been furious that he disappeared when the Clan needed him the most.He couldn't explain to them what happened even if he wanted to. He knew they wouldn't understand what he and the others had been through during their journey. It all sounded fishbrained in the first place. With Leafshine getting closer and closer to kitting, she realized that the tortoiseshell queen would need the herbs sooner rather than later. And with so many other queens expecting, she was running low on the herb."I don't get why he's making it a rule for every she-cat in the Clan to be pregnant," Redstripe complained while watching her sort through the pile of leaves. The medicine cat glanced at the dark ginger elder. No one had questioned where the injuries came from. No one seemed to care one way or another what happened to her. Not that she didn't mind. Smokefrost had learned over time that she wasn't worth looking after once the situation wasn't life-threatening."I still don't get how you were able to scratch your face the way you did running through a thorn bush," Ravenflight scoffed after applying a fresh poultice of herbs on her wounds.
