My heartbeat skyrockets and I’m just about to face him as I get scared my living daylights out of me as my player gets jumped by some mutated creature.

“No. No. No!” I screech while Giovanni laughs, telling me to shoot him.

“I told you! Now look at this. Did you save it?” I moan, and he laughs, shaking his head.

“I don’t think it got saved. We’ll have to start all over again,” he answers mockingly.

I groan and reach to take a sip of my champagne. “This is the worst. Aren’t you scared of those things? I never saw you flinch once.”

He laughs as he drinks from his glass emptying it and taking the bottle out of the ice. “Nah, it’s just a game. But there is something that scares me at the moment.” I look at him surprised as he hums and adds, “Maybe scared is the wrong word. More preoccupied.”

“What is it?” I ask worriedly, turning to face him.

Clicking his tongue, he takes a big swing directly from the bottle before he offers it to me. “That I’m about to go to prison.”
