Driving onto a path leading through a thick forest, one would think that he wants to dispose of my body professionally after our talk.

He halts on a small secluded area that is free from any trees and looks like a natural parking spot.

He takes a deep sigh as his expression turns serious. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.”

Turning to face him as well, I lean into the leather seat and cross my arms on my chest. “I promised you the truth but I don’t know how much I’m ready to share.”
