"What do you mean she's gone"

"Thats right, no phones, no email, no letters, no nothing. Seems like she was wiped out of the face of the earth."

"Oh God, these can't be happening...What are we going to do?" Gabbi looked at her assistant for advice.

"Well you know that we need to have to somebody to sit on that chair to judge or we will be in big trouble, as in BIG trouble." Deana emphasize the word exagerately as Gabbi tried to think of a way to get out of this predicament.

"Have you read the terms of the contract, Deana?"

"Yes, it says that we the G and G unlimited has a contract with Global Stars International, to provide someone from the company to sit as judge on its upcoming stars search which tommorow night, bla bla bla. This was signed by your brother before he left for long awaited second honeymoon and left everything on your capable hands being the invisible vice chairman of the board ." Daena was trying hard not to laugh at the expression on her friend's face as she narrated the terms of of the contract.

" Daena please provide me the list of the capable people in the company to sit as judge aside from Leila Lee, I will study who can replace her as there was no name mention as to who will be representing us."

" I wonder what happened to that woman seems ro dropped out everything without any noticed" Deana was thinking aloud.

"I remember the last time she did this was she was dating that trainer from one of the gym she signed up, ends up making her milking mommy for his endless count of dates for other girls, and personal ambition the jerck ughh..." Deana continues, she think about how they tried to convinced Leila to move on at the time and change her criteria of a perfect boyfriend be like. She glanced at Gabbi and think her two bestfriends one is so serious to the point of shying away from relationships, the other was boy crazy, Leila has countless relationship changing boyfriend as frequent as changing her clothes. She on the other hand found the love of her life, Joey is family oriented man very responsible and very understanding. He understood the sacrifices she have to make working and raising their little Kathy. Thinking about the problem at hand, where can Leila be ? She hope that she's fine .Leila was supposed to be the judge of the reality show being a famous celebrity a multi awardee in various music giving body, she later on branch out into being an actress as she has talent on that field and looks to go with it, while Gabbi was exceedingly talented as well, very capable in almost everything she undertake but hides away from the spotlight . Cause by her painful experience at a very impressionable age and the fact that she is going to stay with her father which she barelly knew and a meddling conniving step-mother with a jealous step-sister until she reach the proper age stipulated on the last will and testament made by her mother before she dies of cancer. This situation added with the scandal later on with Josh her boyfriend, cheating on her with Jennifer who Gabbi treated as a sister. This made her shy away from romantic relationship and keep her friends to a few who she can trust.

"Oh God this list gives me a headache." she hit the button of the interphone to call for her assistant.

"Please come over here."

Secods later, " What's wrong ?" Deana half smlingly approached and ask her.

"Why is my name on top of the list?"

"Simply because You my dear is the most qualified person to sit on that chair, more qualified than Leila herself."

" But you know the complications and..."

" Gabbi it's been ten years ago, its about time you face your demons and get over it."

" It's not that easy, You don't know how it was." Gabbi look away as if to erase memories that keeps on coming at the mention of her being exposed to the limelight again.

"i may not be present in person to know what exactly happen a long time ago. but I can see the effects of it in you and may I say Everyone deserves to be happy , especially you. You are a good person Gabbi, you have help so many people through charities and foundations. please be kind to yourself." she said passionately.

" Helping others was just a way to pay for my sins of the past." she said sadly, is it time for her to open up and let the wounds of the past healed? I wonder thought to herself.

" What about Jenny Kang ? or Mr Molina they are capable also. Do they have events too?" he added.

" Ms Kang is abroad looking after one of our talent who is experiensing difficulty in handling stardom resulting to substance abuse. as she is the only one who could pacify her. Jess Molina also out of the country chasing his wife to patch his marriage and prevent it from crumbling....and Deana go on describing the circumstances of each of the names on the list that was shortlisted.

" Does this mean I have to do it ?"

" I say definetly My dear. your other work we can handle it, or would you rather recall your brother from his vacation to fix this one."

"No| please don't do that Ryan and May waited for this. I don' want to ruin it for my selfish reasons. "

" That's my boss| besides you only have to be there during the auditions and we will arrange it if Leila will show up or others will be free to step in. You can do it." giving her a thumbs up as she steps out of the door, leaving Gabbi with a worried face.

" Oh why does everyone unavailable I feel as I am being set up." she thought, if only she knew.
