THIRD PERSON POV.
So to check on him his father and the Sire of Falcovia King David barged in without a knock but was rooted at the sight front of his eyes.
David walked closer to ensure, it was not a dream. He stood near Jayden's bed to find him sound asleep, his lips tugging into a slight smile on his handsome face. Jayden laid peacefully, hugging a pillow to his body as if it was a feminine waist.
Its been years, since David saw his only child in such a relaxed state.. precisely four years. Jayden was just a seventeen year old when he witnessed his betrothed struggling for her life. David knew his son was maddeningly in love with Rosaleigh.
Although Jayden never accepted it front of his parents considering the limits bounding them as a Royal Family but being his dad David knew him very well. David had witnessed his child suffer through these years. His decision of staying away from the Bloemen family for their well being had an adverse effect on Jayden and David was well aware of it. The memory of how it all started was still afresh in his mind.
Flashback
King David was in his study with Former King and Queen of Or'bloem discussing about the future strategies to regain their country. Edward the second was destroying and dismantling everything in Or'bloem. No man had their freedom or peace, they all were treated as slaves. Edward the second, kept no stones unturned in wasting the royal treasure for fulfilling his wasteful needs. People had to pay high taxes even on necessary commodities like water. Everything was going downhill.
But their discussion was cut midway when Jayden abruptly barged in the meeting hall, the disheveled state and the fear that struck his eyes was evident to make out that unthinkable."They kidnapped her." - he spoke in between his pantings bewildering the three of them.
"..Belle. They attacked her"- Jayden wailed before blacking out.
Everything happened in a blur,David rushed Jayden to the royal doctor and King Henry went in search of Belle. Guards informed that she had just went out for a classical concert in the auditorium nearby.
Seven hours later the royals were informed that Rosaleigh was involved in a major road accident.***
After that attempt, the doctors announced Rosaleigh's fake death according to orders by Henry. The fake announcement was followed by a crematorial ceremony so that Isabelle gets time to cope up without being attacked twice.
For the world, the rightful heir and only princess of Or'bloem was resting besides her maternal grandparents at their ancestral home. Little did her enemies knew, that the bud years ago was now a flower. Rosaleigh who recently turned twenty was soaring high in academics, miles away from evil eyes.
As days turned into months and eventually into years, Jayden changed completely. He busied himself in anything and everything just to keep his mind occupied. He performed well in his academics and fulfilled all his Royal duties.
Neither one in the Royal family knew what exactly happened and how did Jayden know about this attack nor did David ever let anyone ask him. The mention of the unfateful day was considered an offensive crime. Jayden was very young to go through such phase. Being a royal, David had always tried his best to give his son a normal childhood.
A week before when Jayden asked David's consent to transfer his studies at Spazerdrilt, a sapling of fear grew deep in a corner of his heart. All these years, they have kept a safe distance from the Bloemen Family so that their enemy doesn't doubt about the crown princess' fake death.
"Min kärlek, why are you he-" Rachel entered the room, as David silently gestured her to be quiet. She was equally ecstatic realizing that Jayden was fast asleep.
"He is quite excited and happy to meet her" - she whispered as David nodded in response. Their eyes were stuck on Jayden's relaxed state.
"He loves her so dearly" - David whispered back looking at her as she grinned happily.
"Hmm.. after years of sleepless nights, only the thought of meeting Rosaleigh brought him peace" - Rachel stated covering Jayden with a blanket.
They let Jayden sleep in his cabin and ordered the staff to not disturb his peaceful slumber.
Rather than adoring his son's peace David had a crucial work in hand. To conceal Jayden's identity, he asked the chancellor of Spanzerdrilt University to let Jayden study under his middle name Alexander. And he willingly agreed just as he did while concealing Rosaleigh's identity. As per the records at the University Rosaleigh was studying in, Hamilton as her last name.
David had managed things with the president of States for bogus passports under the surname of Betson. David had appointed bodyguards who've been disguised as students to protect Rosaleigh would protect Jayden as well. After ensuring all the arrangements, he let out a sigh of relief.
David too was quite excited to meet his friends Henry and Katherine. Although they kept in touch via secret letters to avoid any suspicion. Meeting him was what he was too eager for. How much he had missed his friends on festivals.
His chain of thoughts was broken as he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder to find Jayden smiling at him in his sleepy state.
"Mitt barn, good you woke up! Come lets have dinner" David offered nodding firmly.
"You sound different when you're my Dad rather than a King." - he joked.
"I demand your presence at the table in five minutes" - David jovially ruffled his hair before walking past him.
"That's King David Krigston ordering me."
David ignored Jayden's whiny voice. And walked to the small dining table placed in the corner of the cabin. He glanced at his wristwatch. There was merely three hours in reaching States.

ROSALEIGH ISABELLE'S POV It was the first day of the last semester. Yesterday I'd my first sleepover at Grace's place. Although we didn't booze we were high on sugar. The muffins and tarts Lucy got with her were much more addictive than cocaine. Walking to my class, I met my bestfriends Gracelyn and Lucille. They both were my only friends since we shifted here in Nashville after my accident. We were a group of five but Adam and Luke were more like Gracelyn's friends. According to what I was told we previously lived at New York but due to my poor health the doctors prescribed us to move to a less populated city. And my parents being the most protective that they are, I ended here in Nashville. I am currently months afar to get my degree
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉIt was half past seven when I stood front of the mirror in my room gazing at my reflection. I had kept my face makeup free cause heavy makeup was the last thing I want on my face. With sublte touch up which consist of my eyeliner, a bit of my compact powder and my favourite pink lipgloss. I pinned my hair in half, leaving the most of it on my shoulders. I matched it with my favourite pair of kitten heel shoes. An unknown excitement builded in my heart to meet my guests when a loud growl of a car engine broke my reverie. So they're finally here. I thought heading down to the living room. Miraculously my house had a make over. I couldn't find any flaws in the set up. Each and everything in my house
***JAYDEN ALEXANDER An appreciative whistle grabbed my attention while I entered the college premises. Gracelyn."Dear Cousin, couldn't wait to see your betrothed." She chuckled receiving my glare."Nice to see you too.""I'm so happy now that you are finally here, I can let go the responsiblity of protecting Rosaleigh from male attention." She gestured towards the group of boys seated in the middle of the campus grounds."Gracelyn, keep your voice low. You dont want to blow your cover." I whispered smilingly.&nb
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉI was sitting in the classroom revising notes when Lucy joined. I always prefered Lucy's company to Grace's. Lucy was calm, composed and the most optimistic soul born on earth. She could point out good even in the worst of the situations. Whereas Grace was a totally opposite of both of us. A lively soul. She believed in living in the present rather than worrying over the past or future. Grace was popular among the boys, a heartthrob in the college. She loved us, only two friends and our simplicy. Our reality kept her grounded. The lecture was to start in another five minutes when Grace came running to class looking for me and Lucy. Grace looked like she've just escaped a war. "Okay, so I've a news." Grace starte
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉThe ride to the college was stress free 'cause I opted a bus with Lucy than a car ride with Alex. It was fun because this was the first time I travelled in a bus since I remember.Everyday either Mama or Dad dropped me to college. It felt like one of those five years old school going girls. It was pretty uncomfortable and embarrassing but my parents didnt give a damn to all those glances that would come our way. By the time it was mid sem, no more stares came my way. It was accepted as normal.Today too, Mama was skeptical to allow me for a bus ride but when Adam accompanied us, she approved. Sometimes, I was overwhelmed about my parents being so protective. It waslike they're hiding me from something or someone, safe guarding me from an unknown threat. My life was nothing normal as much as
***ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉCurrently we were seated in the booth of the most plush diner that's in Nashville, Lucy beside me while Alex and Grace took their seats facing ours. The treat was on Alex. It would surely cause him an arm and a leg!As the food came, we ate in silence, speaking only when had to ask a thing or some regular chatters. After enjoying our meal, we were waiting for our dessert when Alex' phone rung. Noting the caller id he excused himself."Isn't it too much for Alex to afford a dinner here." Lucy whispered when Alex was out of sight. Her eyes observing our surrounding.Exactly my words! I thought.Every inch of this place was pricey and extravagant."No
***JAYDEN ALEXANDER It's been three hours since we rushed Rosaleigh to the hospital. The moment she fell into my arms unconscious, I felt like my world came crashing down, once all over again. Her pale face was etched on my memory for eternity again. Rosaleigh's doctor Mr. Brooks checked on her while he asked about what happened moments before her sudden blackout. It was her first blackout in the span of two years and just within a month of my arrival at Nashville.Am I a bad influence on Bellé's health? She'd had blackouts whenever she stressed on something or tried t
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ I laid in a peaceful surrounding as comforting silence embraced me. The room was silent yet I could feel someone's powerful presence. I twisted and turned to my side finally opening my eyes. It took me a while for my eyes to adjust to the bright lights in the room. Alex stood to my side, his piercing grey eyes studying me. I remember fainting when I couldn't handle that intense ache in my head. My doctors had strictly asked me to not force my brain into remembering something. That's exactly what you did ! said my conscience.Ignoring it, I sat up straight as Alex assisted me by arranging the pillows suitably. He held a cup of water, hesistantly bringing it near my lips. Wordlessly I accepted it. "
THIRD PERSON POV. The air in the hall was filled with despondency, the walls were screaming of terror, which were once painted with glee and peace. The lights did little to no work beating away the darkness that had settled on the plush walls of the castle which had been Edward's residence for almost two decades. Ruling as one of the most powerful dictators of the time, Edward was loosing interest as nothing excited him anymore. The people of Orbloem didn't cause any ruckus finally accepting their fate and Edward as their Ruler. Edward was running out of excuses to punish the innocents. Everything including sexually traumatizing young girls had lost its essence as a new complication was making its presence prominent in his life. Edward was aging, his life span nearing the inevitable end no mortal could escape. Death. His once energetic bones now creaked and groaned whenever he tried engaging himself in the venereal act. Edward was in a desperate need of an heir as the whispers abou
THIRD PERSON POV. "Where is my son?" A cord of coughs followed Edward's gravelly roar as he balanced himself on the throne that once once shone with justice and equality. Earlier when one of his female servant had informed Edward about Edgar's return, he was eager to meet his supposed son, but his excitement was thrown into the midden when he noticed Edgar had returned empty handed. Edward had waited for months for this day and all he attained was a cowering Edgar. "Edgar why dont you answer?" Edward seethed once again, before falling into another fit of coughs. Edgar raised his head a little to look at the once high and mighty dictator was left to nothing but an assemble of bones and tissues. Edward had lost considerable amount of weight in the past few months during Edgar was away. The lung cancer was gradually but definitely consuming Edward, culminating his reign over Orbloem. But Edgar was wise enough to not dream about the day of his ascension to Dictatorship until all the
LUCILLE The credits rolled in concluding the first film. Small chatters carried on around the living room. Luke had went to get tarts for me. All I needed was a sugar rush to keep me going all night. I peeked inside the kitchen from my spot. Luke was taking extra time. Before I could protest, a shattering shrill caused me to cover my ears. In no time Adam was hovering over me, forcing my head down towards his chest. But the force caused me to fall on my side, near the shattered glass window. A prickling pain shot through my arm as my heart raced at the sight of the gun Adam used to shoot towards the broken glass doors. I turned to look at Grace who was crouched beside sofa, Alex was sheilding Rosaleigh in a careful way while she clung to him like a second skin. In no time shots rung at the ceiling lights, darkness covering over us. Luke too had a gun
JAYDEN ALEXANDER. I held Rosaleigh close to me before sidling away from the balcony and towards Grace's bedroom. Adam had Lucy shielded in his arms as Grace crouched and crawled behind us. Rosaleigh clutched my shirt as I hugged her with all my might. Small whimpers escaped her lips as she tried to shrink further. We were in Grace's room when Lucy closed the door after Adam and Luke entered. The electric connection went off confirming my suspicions. We were under attack. I took my phone speed dialing Ralph asking for reinforcements. He informed that he was in his way but I couldn't wait any longer. We had to get out of the house from the underground emergency exit. The sounds of something breaking continued as the snipper kept on shooting blind shots. After a while, silence covered the entire place like a thick blanket of snow. "Wha
JAYDEN ALEXANDER. It was first time in past two weeks after our graduation when Rosaleigh had agreed to get out of the house. Everytime we planned an outing Rosaleigh faked illness or found some weird excuses. It was as if she was hiding in the house from something. Today too she had made a point she wouldn't go out in the city so Grace came up with the idea of a movie night at her place. I was glad to have Grace here, she was really helpful when it came to Rosaleigh. During the ride, Rosaleigh kept glancing around as if trying to spot something or someone. After I asked her what's the matter, she replied with an insouciant shrugg before shrinking in the passenger seat.
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ Mama had promised a Graduation feast for us as they were the only parents that had attended the Graduation ceremony for all my friends including Luke and Adam as well. Thus the following sunday night we headed out for dinner. Entering the Diner we walked towards the VIP section where a table for eight was set near the pool. Mama had pre-ordered dishes like Lobster with buckwheat piklets and avacado, Radicchio salad with orange and walnut dressing, lemon chicken with steamed rice, red and white wine to flush everything down. "Aunt Rachel thanks for the Austrailian cuisine I love it." Grace sighed taking her seat. Grace was very picky when it came to food unlike any of us and thus Mama made a note to keep everything Austrailian
ROSALEIGH ISABELLE The hall reverberated with another round of applause as the announcer continued with his commencing speech. With bated breath, I moved forward towards the main stage. Currently, all the students stood backstage. It was our graduation day. The internship for our batch was to be conducted after a four-weak break. It would be a 24 weeks program in one of the best hospitals around Nashville. My eyes darted towards Gracelyn and Lucille, as we stood ahead in the queue according to the alphabetic order of our names. I was behind Remus Lynn while Alex was in the upfront with Adam. His blue ceremony gown ending near his ankles where his blue jeans was visible. They seemed into a deep conversation. Amanda Chris
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ The days flew by smoothly, most of them were spent in the cafeteria. The year was coming to an end, the cafeteria was buzzing with students sharing the lasts of their beautiful memories trying to capture everything in their cameras. The boy band completed their song as the cafeteria resonated with claps and hoots of appreciation. Students had set a small stage in the center surrounding the tables, while many showcased their hidden talents. "Alex why don't you sing?" Grace prompted, munching a chip ignoring the pair of girls that ascended the stage for a dance duel. "Yes that day you missed your performance." Lucy piped in as Adam and Luke agreed in unison, I recalled the day I had my last blackout. Alex turned deaf ears to their pleas focusing his attention on
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉThe next morning I walked down from my room leading to the dining area. A part of me eager to start the day. Dad was seated at the head of the dining table hiding behind his broad sheets while Mama took her seat adjacent to his. The dining area smelled of freshly baked Cinnamon rolls. Mama never baked them until it was Christmas and currently we were in mid year. Not that I complained, I've been a fan of Cinnamon rolls. I looked around the table in an attempt to find my favourite rolls. When I spotted them, I broke into a run half way through my way. Halting I grabbed a cinnamon roll and was about to devour it when my gaze fell on Mama. She was no longer sitting but standing and carefully observing my moves, a hand on her chest. My sudden run must
