Chapter Four

“You..”  One of them really couldn’t stand the thing that they got trapped by a woman, who they always looked upon.

Ophelia just looked at them with raised eyebrows, like ‘what?’

He felt that he only sees red; his heart is heaving up and down in a fury, not only him but all the others;

They now understood that this woman isn’t an easy feat; now they understood what is also because of a woman, who they never considered worthy of their attention.

There are at least six people what the fear is

They have been together for almost ten years, doing all the dirty jobs for many big wigs and doing many dirty things.

So now also they are just like children, one second they would be fighting or sneering at each other, but now in the dangerous situation, they are like close-knitted brothers.

They all know now the first thing is to get out of here, then they can see about this woman, after all, this woman will not stay in this forest forever and will come to town, which is their forte, they can settle the score with that woman.

With this thought, they all again turned towards the barrier, which is invisible to them other than the force they can feel when trying to walk out, so it is just an invisible barrier.

They tried to break the barrier by using strength; they all tried to knock the wall by their shoulders, but they couldn’t do that.

Then they started to find the stones, swigs, and woods and swung them on the barrier; what astonished them was whatever they threw, everything went out of the wall they felt.

It made them vomit blood in anger.

Someone also threw the mobile, and it also went outside the “barrier.”

This made all of their faces turn blue; if they all are anime characters, anyone can imagine the smoke going through their ears and heads.

Ophelia chuckled slightly when the thought hit her mind.

She suddenly thought,

‘Bad Ophelia, you are really got deep into animes’

She knew that she only sees cartoons in the home, which is the only thing she loves to watch.

Back to the present,

When she saw their antics, she felt that she was playing as the villain here;  those rascals also understood that other than them, everything is free to move in and out in this forest.

Suddenly one of them turned around and started to curse Ophelia.

“You bi***, open this thing for us, how dare you to lock us here, open it, otherwise, you will face the consequences, You witch, what magic did you use to lock us here, get us out of here.” 

Ophelia suddenly turned serious, and the smile on her face started to get smaller and at the end just disappeared, then again like someone gave the order everything went into eerie silence which made those six people fear even more.

“What if I don’t, at first I just wanted to give you guys a small lesson and let you guys remember that never treat women as your thing for pleasure, they also have the same status as you men have, but now I am thinking of letting you guys stay here for a few hours…. Maybe until morning; I wish you guys a happy stay here.”

 With that, Ophelia walked inside the forest.

Those men also thought of following her inside just as the idea came, which also vanished. 

They heard the roar of animals and felt staying here was good.

“I think we should be close to the entrance, in any case, if someone sees us then maybe they will help us. Someone expressed their opinion.

Others also felt that is good, 

“Yes, we should just stay here; I have heard that there are many animals here, Wolf, Jackals, Lion, Tiger, and many more; if we go inside, then maybe we will be the food of those animals, rather than endangering ourselves, staying here is best.” 

But the smart man still thinking about something else,

“Hey, buddy, what are you thinking, huh? Are you sad that we didn’t get that chick? Don’t worry until when she stays in this forest, she has to get out from here; that day, I will tell her that we are not good to mess with, humph, that bi*** thought she could get away just because she trapped us here.”

Everyone nodded their heads.

They all have the same thought.

“You are right, brother, the whole town is ours, we can do whatever we want, and no one will care about what we do, they all fear us, and this woman tried to play us, we should just make her pay for whatever she did today, humph bi*** wait for me to teach you a lesson, that you will never forget”

“Humph”

“You are right, brother.”

But that smart man in them does not have the same thought. He felt that the lady might look weak, but she is not what they could attack or resist.

He looked at his brothers, who became relaxed the instant that lady went inside the forest and seemed to forget that they are still in the woods, and there is an invisible barrier that is stopping them from leaving this dead place; they are simply fooling themselves.

Seeing him frowning and deep worry in his eyes, the person who sat beside him asked. 

“Hey brother, what happened to you? Why are you frowning? See, we are safe now. ” 

Another party patted in the back of that intelligent person in comfort.

That smart man sighed and patiently explained all the others who are sitting very comfortably,

“You guys, have you thought we are safe or not? Do you believe that we will be safe just because we are near the exit of the forest? I remind you guys that we are still in the woods; at any time, those animals can come and kill us; we are not safe until we leave this place and go to town.

And think about it, this invisible barrier, do you think this is here because of the forest? No, this is not; I presume that this is done by that woman we chased here, and we are all pitted by just the superficial appearance of that girl; if there is something true, then that girl is a dangerous person.”

His explanation isn’t really with any physical proof rather his observation and his instinct.

The whole place was covered in silence, then suddenly ‘Puchii,’ someone laughed all of a sudden when that smart person was just about to believe that his friends understood his worries.

“Hahaha”

“Hahaha, really”

“Hahaha.”

“You brother, haha, I think your mind filled with the film which we saw last week where the actress was the dangerous person, hahaha.

This is not a film, but reality, and this woman isn’t some female lead; she is just ordinary. Didn’t you see how thin her arms are? She isn’t the person to fight; instead, it looks like she needs someone’s protection; that's why we were here, isn’t it, brothers? I think she didn’t even hurt a single mosquito, then where she will hurt us.”

“Isn't it?”

“I am also thinking, at first I also had the doubt that this woman is playing here but then looking at the fine and beautiful hands where she will hurt anyone.”

This made him only worry about his friends, who only think with money and lust, never using the brain.

He didn’t care to explain them much; after all, these people will not understand, and they always think they are right and others are just saying false,  so instead of making everyone displeased, silently waiting is better.

For the time being, the most important thing is staying close to each other because this forest for him looks strange.

He didn’t know his illusion or reality, but this forest was something close to that woman, and the way she walked inside in this forest looked like she knew the forest well, very well.

As everyone relaxed their guards and looked around,

“I am hungry; I think we should see if there is anything for eating here; I don't know if this forest has some edible fruits” Someone sighed, rubbing his stomach.

Just like that, some others' stomachs also growled in hunger.

Seeing this, that smart man also felt hungry, but he still didn’t know if it was safe for them to go into the depths of the forest.

“We should go and search for the fruits and berries if there are any that can be edible to eat,” Someone said, getting up and patting their clothes.

Seeing that, everyone also got up.

That smart man was thinking of going in or not, seeing that everyone is going in, he felt panic rose in his heart, as he was about to suggest that they should go together, 

Someone chimed.

“This forest is so big, where should we find the fruits, seeing the situation around there is no tree of fruits, so we have to enter the depth of the forest, should we split and find the food, so whoever gets will come back and wait for another person.” 

His suggestion was quite good if it was some other place, but this group of rascals already lost their fear now; they are just ruffians who show their brave front no matter how fragile their heart is.

“I think this is quite a good suggestion; we should do as he said, after all, if we go in one way, then we will waste time, so splitting is a good choice for us, so no one has any objection, right?”  someone also approved.

As everyone is about to nod their head in agreement.

That smart man suddenly shouted, 

“I have….. I mean, we shouldn’t split, this forest isn’t something we know about, and this place is quite foggy; if we split, then we have a high chance of getting lost, and coming back here is almost impossible seeing this fog which is getting thicker and thicker.

And I have heard this forest has wild animals, and if we go alone in the depths of the forest, we may become the food of wild animals, so I think going together is best, even if we don't get food, we will not be the food of any animal though.”

Everyone ready to split and go on their own suddenly halted their thoughts; they all had their plan.

When they get the fruits, they will fill their stomach first and rest with others, but now their plans burst when they hear these words.

They also thought, after thinking sometime, they also felt reasonable.

If they want on their own, returning will be difficult, either with this fog getting thicker and also because of wild animals.

It’s like they are stuck between two options, and both sides have the same ends, so if they went alone, coming back is not guaranteed, so what they can do is go together.

“I think Josh [Author’s Note: The Smart Man] is right, after all, we don’t know this forest, and I also heard there are quite ferocious animals here, so being together is our best choice,” The one who has the most authority said with his final tone not leaving room for any arguments.

No one has any objection; why would they have.

If there is anyone to object to, then that person is either brave or just an overconfident person; note the sarcasm.

This group of ruffians, in this world they only fear three things, power, money, and death, so now their most cherished thing will be gone if they acted on their own, so who wants to do that, they all want to live, and that’s also well, then would be silly if they argued.

So all of them stood in two rows of three people. 

Between them, forest entrance there is no gap like they are all sticking each other in the fear, thinking about these ruffians who are always walking in the downtown of the city like an overlord, scaring everyone; now fear that, if they do something wrong and take one wrong step, then they will be dead.

Everyone solemnly chose one route and walked in without looking back, just staring ahead; maybe because of the fear of the unknown, they didn’t dare to wonder, just stuck to each other. If it weren’t for making the wrong impression, they would have held the hands of another person beside them.

As they walked in the depth of the forest, their silhouette slowly disappeared.

Suddenly there comes another cool and calm voice, but hearing,  it is difficult to discover whether it is male or female.

“Hahaha, such a chicken-hearted bunch of mouse, came here in this forest, if it is not for you, I would have taught them a lesson, at least one of their part would be gone, so in the future, they will remember that they are not worthy of placing their eyes on you.”

When looked at, there is only one person, Ophelia, with her enchanting beauty, and in the night, she is glowing.

Strangely she is alone standing, no one beside her still there is a voice coming.

“Sometimes, you don’t need to be heavy-handed, just a little spark to ignite the fear which is hidden deep in the heart.” Ophelia’s emotionless voice came.
