Evangeline stood on her feet against Gabriel now. Meanwhile, Gabriel only squinted at her resistance, although he had not uttered anything specific.
"Why do you yell at me?" Gabriel asked coldly. Eva let out an astonished gasp when she felt that Gabriel wanted to do something terrible.
"I am coming here to work, Mr. Xander. I did not come to do something nasty like what you think." Eva blurted out boldly through her soft tone. Gabriel chuckled slightly but kept sitting in his place. He shook his head intentionally, thinking that Eva should remember him from their night.
"Do you realize what you are saying to me now, Eva? You called me a pervert." Gabriel sneered back at her. She was stunned, then looked sorry. Eva thought that she might overthink.

Although she feared Gabriel, Eva was forced to sit back in her chair.
