"This rib eye is absolutely delicious" Melvin said munching down on his food.

One thing I knew about Melvin after all these years was that he loved food. He took it as seriously as a normal person would take their relationship.

"Zadkiel, you really are the best for treating us here!! Don't you think so Cassiel?" Melvin expressed his gratitude, eyes still locked on his food as he mumbled.

"Yes, he sure is! Now will you please eat like a civil?" I joked, to which he rolled his eyes and continued focusing on cleaning his plate.

"Zadkiel you really didn't have to you know that right" I always knew Zadkiel loved eating out but this time he went all the way for it.

We were currently sitting in a 5-star restaurant and having the most delicious and lavish meal of our lives. Zadkiel was from a rich background and he decided to give us an early treat for his birthday as he was going out of town that day. It still was a month away so I really couldn't understand what the rush was. For me to be sitting here felt like I was going to ruin something by simply touching it. Coming to a place like this was only possible in my dreams to be very honest.

"Cassiel don't think too much and enjoy the food just like our little Melvin here", he ruffled Melvin's thick brown hair to which the little pouted and I could not hold back the smile that crept my face at his cuteness.

"Whoa look it's Keanu!!" Melvin suddenly whisper yelled to no one in particular. I looked up from my food to see a bunny smiling at our direction.

"Here... here Keanu!" Before I could stop him, Melvin had already gestured for him to come over at our table.

"Ah! Melvin, Zadkiel, Cassiel what are you all doing here?" He nodded politely shaking hands with Melvin.

"Zadkiel, here is giving us his birthday treat a little early!" Melvin answered for the curious bunny.

"I might leave for a week by then so I thought it would be nice to have an early celebration" Zadkiel explained.

"Oh, that's great!" Keanu said, his attention on the door, as though he was waiting for someone.

"Why don't you join us?" Zadkiel offered, to which the younger looked hesitant.

"Ah! Um yeah join us Keanu" Melvin chipped in and offered again politely.

"I don't want to bother you three besides my friends are on their way" he replied still fidgeting with his hands.

For his appearance, it didn't look like he would be nervous around people but would make others nervous. He gave out a very strong aura or so I felt.

"It's cool you and your friends both can join us, there are vacant seats and a little company wont bother us at all. Right, Cassiel?" I was taken out of my trance by Zadkiel's question.

"Uh? Oh! Yeah sure join us!" I smiled at the boy standing all nervous. He seemed to calm down and sat down across Melvin.

We talked for a while and ordered more this time along with drinks. I wasn't drinking as I would have to drive these dorks back and I absolutely did not approve of it as we were still underage, most of us that is.

"Oh! Dàinn's here!!" Keanu exclaimed all of a sudden standing from his chair and aggressively gesturing his friends to walk over. I looked at the direction he was waving only to feel cold all of a sudden.

'Ah it's you again!' I thought to myself realizing that his friends were non other than the other two transfer students.

"Hello everyone!!" Marcel the second youngest of the group greeted everyone with a wide smile spread across his face. While Dáinn just nodded his head slightly at everyone. Everyone responded with hi's and hello's and the two sat down with us.

I was sat at the head of the table and kept looking back and forth at the younger ones communicating. They casually talked about video games and how the subjects at our college were utterly boring and the teachers were not fun at all.

From the talks I got to know Melvin and Marcel were of the same age Marcel being a few months younger and Keanu was the youngest in the group at the moment being a couple of years younger than Melvin. On the other hand, Dáinn was a year younger to me. Which automatically made me the eldest and Zadkiel the third eldest in the group.

"It would have been fun if Favian could join us too" Keanu said out of the blue taking a sip from his juice.

"Favian?" Zadkiel questioned raising an eyebrow.

"Oh! Favian is the brain of our group! He still hasn't come to the city though, busy with some family issues" Marcel spoke looking up from his plate. "Oh, and he is younger than you Zadkiel" he added and continued eating.

Why does this name sound familiar I thought to myself? But nevertheless, I let the youngers continue their talk.

"Ah I see! When he comes, we can all hang out again" Melvin suggested happily, finally finishing his plate and sitting straight.

"Sure, that would be fun!" The younger exclaimed with the same excitement.

"Cassiel, you, okay?" I looked at Zadkiel and nodded not realising I unintentionally was creasing my arms to feel a little warmer.

"You sure, Cass?" concern laced Melvin's voice as he looked at me with his innocent almond shaped eyes.

"Yes Melvin, I just feel a little cold" I replied trying to sound as collected as possible patting the youngers head lightly. I looked up to see already a pair of light brown eyes on me. For a second the image of the Black Wolf from my dreams flashed before my eyes.

Confused, I looked away instantly. What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I imagining things like this while being wide awake? I looked back at him once again, only to see Dáinn using his phone completely immersed in whatever he was doing.

As I come to think of it, I was the only one who would get affected by his presence and I was the only one that would always get the chilly vibes from his existence.

As the night got longer, the group continued to drink, besides Keanu and me of course. I noticed that Melvin and Dáinn both had really high tolerance for alcohol, whereas Marcel and Zadkiel were both knocked out after a couple of drinks. I also learned that Marcel was not the type to enjoy drinking at all, until and unless it was on special occasions. The kid couldn't even drink coffee for God's sake!

I wonder how he gets past the horrible assignments. I chuckled softly at my thought.

"What's funny?" I was brought back to the current situation by the coldest voice I had ever heard in my entire life. I looked to the right to see Dáinn boring holes into me with a stern face.

"Uh? Um I- I was - I was just thinking about something" I internally face palmed myself for stuttering so much. I must have sounded like a 3-year-old.

I think he was satisfied by my answer or maybe he just did not bother asking more. He simply turned his head straight and started typing on his phone.

Weird.

"Zad! Hey... Zadkiel wake up let's go home now, yeah? I tried waking the drunk man up but only heard him groan in return.

"HEY!!! WAKE UP WILL YOU?!" I simply yelled at him, to which his body reacted by standing up immediately. To be honest it was extremely funny but from the look on his face it looked like he had seen a ghost.

"I'm up... I am totally up!!" Zadkiel said standing up abruptly, looking everywhere but at me. This kid was seriously drunk. I shook my head and held him on my right and Melvin on my left. They were light in weight so it was easier to hold them both together.

I turned around to say my goodbyes to the others only to see a shocked Dáinn and wide-awake Marcel staring at me. Confused I looked at them both tilting my head a little to understand the situation.

"I didn't know you could yell as well, Cassiel", a very surprised Keanu said from his seat looking my way with his big doe eyes.

"That was so coooolll Caasieelll~" Marcel blabbered while playing with the table cloth. Realizing what they were talking about I couldn't help but laugh at their reactions.

It sure was true that I rarely raised my voice at anyone. But to see someone react to it by being so shocked was extremely funny to me. I mean who gets surprised by someone yelling at a drunk person. I laughed for a good 2 minutes, not realizing that a set of honey eyes were looking my way in awe.

*

The ride back home was one hell of a trip. The drunk youngers had many questions to ask to which I couldn't really reply, for instance:

"Cassiel... why do we eat?" The question really did not surprise me, but the person asking was a shock to me. Melvin asking about food even when he was drunk was still cute to me.

On the other hand, Zadkiel had serious concerns:

"CASSIEL MY HANDS ARE FOLDABLE!!", after opening and closing his hands several times, he had come to discover that by forming a fist his hands had become foldable.

'Its going to be a long, long night..." Exclaiming to myself. I headed to my apartment and settled the two down. Washing them up and putting them to bed I made my way to the kitchen and grabbed some fruits for myself. I was hungry after the tiresome trip after all.

I sat down on my couch and leaned backwards closing my eyes trying to relax my mind.

What was Dáinn doing with his younger ones?...

Wait! what?

Why am I thinking about him right now! Stop!

I scolded myself mentally and closed my eyes again simple drifting off to sleep on the couch itself
