Kabanata 9

As we get back to the beast's residence, I can feel the sudden chills all of a sudden. I shrugged it off and said my thank yous to Gustav and the others who accompanied me for today. They only nodded and didn't even say a word. I rolled my eyes at them and got inside the mansion.

William's most serious face welcomed me. He looks so devilish in his business suit. He is at the top of the stairs waiting for me to come over. I can see the broken figurines scattered on the floor. No one dares to clean it up yet since the beast is still in a foul mood.

“Welcome home, my dear wife.” He said with a menace in his voice.

“Boss.”

I heard Gustav's firm voice at my back saying that.

Wil suddenly pointed a gun at Gustav and smiled without humor on his face.

My eyes widened when he suddenly fired it at the standing Gustav.

I screamed in shock.

The surprised Gustav wasn't able to take some action. He just stood there stoically.

“Why the fuck you let some bastard touch my wife, more so let him hug her?
