Napatampal ako sa aking noo ng magising na nag-iisa na naman ako sa kwarto. Pagkatapos naming magniig ni William ay nakatulog ako. And now, I'm alone in my bed when I woke up. It's past lunch now.

I dialed the kitchen's number and asked for food to be delivered to my room. I looked at myself and thank goodness, William dressed me up.

I got off in my bed and looked at my phone. There was no message for him so I sent him one asking where he is. I didn't expect him to reply immediately so I put down my phone after sending him a message.

A knock on my door came after a while. It was Lydia, my personal helper.

“Good day, Mrs. Cavanaugh. Here's your food.”

“Thank you, Lydia,” I said as she handed me the tray with a crab soup and a Caesar salad I requested. She nodded and distanced herself from me and patiently waited on the corner side of the room. I told her she can sit down on the sofa but she firmly declined my offer. Hindi ko na siya pinilit at hinayaan siya sa kung ano ang gusto niya
