LEYLA'S POV:-
I was sitting on the beach, looking at the calmed weave of the sea. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "You look comfortable." I smiled widely as I heard Kurt's voice. He sat down beside me, hugging his knees. Just the way I was sitting. I turned my head towards him and winked at him.
"The real question is, why did you bring me here? Because, last I remember, you said we will be in Oregon for our next date. But we are at the beach in New York City." I asked him in a dramatic tone that made him chuckle.
He laid down on the sand with one of his hands under his head. He opened the second arm for me. I smiled shyly then laid down with him. My head was on his chest as he wrapped his arm around me. "Well, you have been pretty disturbed lately. You talk to me but I started to realize that your head was mostly somewhere else. So I thought, a small run away plan would help you sort things out. And if that didn't help, I am here to listen." He replied to me honestly. His tone was gentle. He was rubbing my back all the time to make me feel better. He was actually trying to help me. Just because I was not paying attention towards our chats.
"Awww… Kurt. That's so sweet of you. Thank you. I really needed a getaway plan like this. How thoughtful of you." I replied in the same gentle tone that he used with me. He chuckled softly then he ruffled my hair.
"Now, talk to me. What is bothering you so much? I know you are not that kind of person who would be worried over tiny things. I know, something is bothering you so much." He asked me in a worried tone and I could not help but smile at him. He was really trying his best to be actually there for me. While all I was doing was searching for a vivid memory from my childhood.
I sighed as I heard his worried tone. Sat up and averted my gaze towards the sea. "You remember, I told you that my mom and I were in a fight before we went to the yacht. It was not a normal fight. I was mad at her for forcing you and your mom to believe that I was a total nut job. In fact, I was actually fuming in anger." I started telling him the story behind my divided attention. He also sat up on the sand. I could feel his gaze on me. But I was just too emotional to look into his eyes. I knew what I did was not right.
"Hey, Sugarplum. I told you not to worry about it. I told my mom the truth. And I know your truth too. You should not be stressing yourself about something worthless. It was a lie. And lies worth nothing. Just be happy." He spoke in a gentle tone while he was caressing my head in a loving way. I turned my head towards him and gave him a gentle but huge smile. He cupped the back of my head and pulled me closer to his face. Then he pecked my forehead lovingly. I could not help but lean more into his touches.
"Thank you, Kurt. But that is not the main problem. I said so many bad things to my mom that day. My words were harsh. I was shaking in anger and when dad asked her why she did that, she replied to us as if she was proud of whatever she had done. I lost it when she said that because of her lies, I was going on a date with you." I added in a guilty tone and with a pout on my face. I knew I was guilty. But I was just worried if I could ever be forgiven.
"That's it! Look, what you did, I am not saying it was right. But I can't say either that you were wrong. You just showed her the mirror. And I am with you because you had courage to tell me the truth. Even though the truth was ugly for you to tell. You still told me. Keep this one important detail on your mind." I narrowed my head and covered my face with my hands, smiling shyly as I heard his cute words. He knew how to make a woman feel fancy from the inside. He chuckled softly then ruffled my hair again.
"Have you tried apologizing to her?" He asked me after a minute. I pulled my head out and shook my head. He sighed then scratched his chin as if he was thinking about something important.
"Okay then, call her now and apologize to her. Call her now and keep her on the loudspeaker. So I can hear her too. I will tell you what to do next. Okay? Call her, now, Sugarplum." He asked me to call my mom. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I dialled my mom's number then waited for her to answer.
As the phone was ringing, my heart started racing inside my chest. I was biting my nails because of the nervousness I was feeling. After what it felt like an eternity, she finally picked up before the last bell was about to end. "Hello! What is it, Leyla? You know I am busy. So this better be important." She almost scolded me as soon as she picked up. Kurt signalled me to speak up. While I was shaking my head. I did not want to say anything.
"Leyla, speak up or I am hanging up." My mom added in an annoyed tone. Kurt gritted his teeth then glared at me angrily so I would talk to my mom.
"Mom! I wanted to say that about the other day. When I said those things to you. I mean when we fought. What I am trying to say… mom… I am sorry. I should not have said anything that harsh." I finally managed to speak up. I had a pout on my face. Kurt chuckled seeing that pout on my face. He pinched my cheek playfully and my pout deepened.
There was silence on the other side of the line. I almost thought mom would have hung up. I checked the screen. My mom was online. "Mom! Are you listening? I said, I am sorry. Mom! Say something." I spoke after a few minutes of silence. I was suddenly very curious to know what she thought.
"I am here and I am listening perfectly fine. That's all you had to say. Or do you have something more?" She asked me in an annoyed tone. A confused frown appeared on our faces as we heard mom. Kurt signalled me to answer her and I sighed.
"No, that's all I wanted to say." I replied to her and the next thing I heard was the tone that my mom had hung up. I gulped hard and looked at Kurt. He had the same shocked look on his face. Well, he was more shocked than I was. Because I knew mom and he didn't.
I growled in anger and threw my phone in the sea. "Leyla! Why would you do that?" He said as he stood up and pulled me up with him. He took me to the sea to find my phone. Which was near to impossible. When we didn't find the phone, he started splashing water on me. I smiled and splashed water on him too. We were playing with water like children. And I actually forgot everything about the call that angered me even more.
LEYLA'S POV:-We were standing in a mall. I had no idea why Kurt brought me to a mall. And when I asked him, he shushed me saying that he is the boss for now. I rolled my eyes at his dramatic acts but I could not help myself. He was cute and I started to like spending time with him. I did not say another word to him after that. He bought us ice cream. Then he made me sit on a bench and went away. And I was waiting for him, while finishing his and my ice cream. Well, I was hungry and angry. And ice cream was perfect in both scenarios. After almost twenty minutes, he came back. By then, I had finished both of our ice cream. He had a mischievous smirk on his face. I bit my lower lip with a guilty look on my face. "Sorry. I was hungry and angry and your ice cream was more delicious than mine. So I could not stop myself." I said with a guilty pout on my face. Seeing my pout, he laughed out l
LEYLA'S POV:-Once Kurt was gone, I went towards the house. The guard nodded his head at me. I walked towards him. "Did you bring the money?" The guard asked me in an excited tone. I nodded my head as I opened my purse and pulled an envelope out of my purse."Here you go. As promised. Sixty grand. Now, are you sure everything is under control?" Because once I get in, you can't get me out until I am done." I asked him in a curious tone. He opened the envelope and started counting the money. He nodded his head as he heard my question."Yes! It's fine and I have turned off all the cameras until you are done. Nobody will come back until two days later. There is something they are preparing to bring here after two days. Just go inside and get done with everything." He replied to me in a confident tone that made me roll my eyes at his non serio
LEYLA'S POV:-He looked tired. His eyes were red. His hair was messy. His lips were dry. I could almost imagine how exhausted he might be. "Oh, Kurt. I am so sorry. Let's get out of here. Let me take you home. You look exhausted." I cupped his face with both of my hands then spoke in a worried tone. He sighed and forced a small smile on his face. He pulled his phone out and dialled a number. He waited until the phone was answered."Hey, man! Found anything?" He asked on the phone and waited for the response. He sighed in a disappointed way after a minute."Yeah, I think so too. It's about to dawn in a while. We need to head home. Let's rest for a few hours then start looking for her again in the morning." He spoke in a disappointed tone. He listened to whoever he was talking to on the phone. Then he hung up. He grabbed my hand then pulled me away. We w
KURT'S POV:-I opened my eyes in the morning and found Leyla's body almost wrapped around me protectively. She was snoring softly. I chuckled softly as I saw her beautiful face in the morning. I pecked her forehead lovingly then freed myself from her tight grip. I walked towards the bathroom and took a shower. Once I was done with the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom. I went towards the bed and sat down on the edge of the bed. I leaned over and let the droplets of water fall on her beautiful face. She frowned twice then slowly opened her eyes. She gasped as she found me so close to her. I was staring into her eyes. She gulped hard while looking at my almost naked body. "I need to go. That's why I had to wake you up." I said in a guilty tone after a few minutes of silence. Seeing my face, she chuckled. She sat up on the bed, staring
LEYLA'S POV:-"Lucifer, huh! Weird. Do you know where Alina is now? I mean, I have heard that she was taken away by the police then she was sent to a psychological help center. Do you have any idea where she could have been?" I asked her in a curious tone while scratching my chin. I was so hopeful that I could meet Alina. For me, I thought she was the only one who could help me find the truth hidden behind the walls I could not touch. And Alina was my last hope to figure out all the answers I had been looking for.Hearing my question, the maid sighed in a disappointed way then shook her hand. "I am so sorry, Leyla. We know nothing about what happened to her. Even her family has no idea where she was taken." She replied to me in a disappointed way and my smile also fell. I was really hoping to see Alina to find out what she had figured out. Her story was almost like mine. A
LEYLA'S POV:-"So, Miss Summers. Tell me, what brought you here? Because I have never received a curious guest in years to visit my house. What brought you here?" He asked me in a curious tone while looking at me from head to toe. He was suspicious about me for some reason."Please, call me Leyla. I am here to ask you about Alina. Where is she? I need to meet her." I replied to him in a calmed tone. Hearing my words, his facial expressions changed. From curious to anger. I gulped hard as I was not expecting him to be angry just because I asked about his girlfriend."And you are what, another journalist or something? Who wants to show her ugly face to the world?" He roared at me as he stood up from the couch he was on and towered over me. As for me, I was so scared of him that I almost felt my heart would jump out of my chest.
LEYLA'S POV:-"But this is near to impossible. How come she and I had the same kind of accident, with the same van and that too in the same year? And after that, the same incident happened to us both. I just don't get it." I asked Ali in a confused tone while scratching my chin lightly while thinking about everything.Ali stood up and went towards the wall in front of us. He grabbed the shelf with decorative items on it and moved it. The shelf opened like a door and behind that door was a secret hidden room. I also stood up and followed him behind. As it was the only thing I could think of doing. He went towards the shelves where all the books were set. The books looked very old and ancient. He went towards the shelves where the books with black covers were. He chose one book and pulled it out. He opened the book and w
LEYLA'S POV:-"See! I was right. These diaries were meant for you. Now it's up to you to find answers. And something tells me that you don't have much time to figure it out." Ali spoke in an enthusiastic tone while looking at me. As for me, I was adjusting myself. That spark was not just knowledge. It was pure energy. Like the spiritual energies I had inside me. I was shocked because I felt strong. Actually, I felt stronger than ever. I turned my head towards Ali and frowned in confusion."What do you mean? Why am I out of time?" I asked him in a confused tone. He sighed and walked towards me. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me out of that secret room. He pulled me towards his living room. There was a big window in his living room. He pulled me towards the living room and pointed his finger towards the sky.
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Leyla was sitting with her family. Her mother was crying while she wrapped her arms around her son. Hudson also became a part of that family. Her father had one of his arms wrapped around Leyla. She was happy that finally her family was together. Leyla's parents were helping Hudson to recover from that night. It was hard. But with all the love he was receiving from the Summers family, he was recovering pretty fast. Leyla stood up and walked towards Aleck. "Mom, let him be. He just got back. Aleck, let me introduce you to Hudson. He also lives with us. I would be very happy if you helped him recover from his dark past." Leyla introduced Hudson to Aleck.Aleck turned to look at the cutest little boy sitting across the table. He was sitting with his father. As Hudson looked at Aleck, his cheeks turned pink. "He is part of this family. I was waiting
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Lucian was on the ground with angry tears in his eyes. This was the very first time he had his head narrowed in shame in front of his father. Because he had failed to do what his father asked him to do. I am sorry, father. I have failed you. I am ashamed of myself." Lucian said in a low tone while staring at the dusty ground. He felt lower than the dusty ground itself."Rise, my son." Lucian heard his father and quickly stood up. His head was still narrowed in shame. Lucifer was not expecting his son to be defeated by that once Spiritual he had known about. Perhaps, the future he foresaw was absolutely right. It was that one woman that was standing between Lucifer and this world."I know you feel ashamed. But that's okay. Satan did his job before he died. He couldn't tell me much. But
LUCIAN'S POV:-Once all the sacrifices were done, all the blood was sent towards the six other seeds of evil. But they were not enough for all of the seeds. We needed more blood. Samira walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me. "It was done pretty well. I was thinking about all the things that could ruin our plan for tonight." She spoke in a low tone. I chuckled as I heard her. I grabbed her hands and pulled her in front of me. I cupped her face and leaned in. She held her breath as I captured her lips in a passion kiss. After a while, I pulled away and pecked her forehead. Every time I kissed her, her cheeks turned pink.I grabbed her hand and walked towards Seth, an incubus working with us. "My work is done here. I am going back home. Franklin is still not here. Inform me whenever he comes. He will not be alone. He will be with Satan. As it was the night he was sup
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Satan pointed his sword at Leyla with a winning grin on his face. The dark souls wrapped around the blade made Leyla shiver. "Calm your heart. Those souls were too dark. And they exchanged their lives for their earthly desires. That's what they get when the humans run after their earthly desires. Their obsessions take them to hell." A voice ringed in her head. Her heart suddenly felt at ease as she heard that voice in her head. She didn't need anyone to confirm that it was her guardian angel. Leyla sighed in relief. Knowing that he was around, she felt safe. Satan ran towards Leyla and Kurt. Leyla was fast to duck. She sat down on the ground and kicked the back of his knee hard.Satan stumbled on his steps. Kurt took the opportunity to his advantage and punched Satan in the face. Satan fell on the ground with a loud thud. Th
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The moon was finally back on its own silver shade. The blood moon was over. Satan took a deep breath and a smirk appeared on his face. "Free at last. It will not take longer for you as well my brothers. Tonight, you will get what you want. Your powers will be free. And you will also be able to step into this world they have known as the piece of heaven." Satan spoke to himself as he breathed in the fresh air of the planet. It made him happy to look around. That place was not extremely hot or extremely cold like heaven. He just wanted to feel all that on his own. The magic of this world all the demons talked about.Smirking mischievously, Satan walked towards the palace he was told about. It was the first place he was about to collect all those sacrificed blood from. He couldn't wait to be united with his brothers again. Satan stepped into the palace an
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Selvi pulled away from Leyla. She had a confused frown on her face. She had this feeling inside her chest that she might have known Leyla. But she just couldn't remember Leyla. It was not her fault as well. Until Leyla stayed by Selvi's side, Selvi was unconscious. It took her months to recover mentally from the wounds her step family had given her. They were not physical wounds. And they were not visible to the eyes of the world. But Leyla had seen those wounds. And she knew that Selvi's wounds were bleeding. To help her heal and grow up to be a better person, Leyla left Selvi at an orphanage. Leyla thought that being with people of her age, Selvi would grow up to be a better person. But she never left Selvi alone. She visited Selvi until she got adopted. Leyla never knew that it was Franklin who had adopted Selvi. "Was it
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-The woman came out of the car and went towards Leyla. She knelt down on the ground in front of Leyla. "Now you see her pain. Have you thought about your daughter once when you took her away from her father? Have you thought once about her when she used to complain to you about your husband? What kind of a selfish bitch you really were? How could you do this to your own daughter?" Leyla yelled at the woman angrily. She was pacing back and forth like a maniac. She wanted to calm herself down. But there was nothing that could calm her down at that moment. She could never imagine the pain that girl might be in. Leyla was suddenly restless. The woman narrowed her head as she heard Leyla yelling at her. She already knew that Leyla was right. She was indeed a selfish bitch. "I know I am a selfish bitch. And I never deserved to be her mothe
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-FIVE YEARS AGO:-Leyla was driving back home after a busy day. She had been with her father all day. It was way past midnight. And Leyla hadn't had any sleep. She felt tired and she was hungry. She couldn't wait to go back home. The signal light turned green. Leyla started driving. Suddenly, a woman appeared in front of her car out of nowhere. Leyla hit the brakes of her car. Before the car would have hit the woman, she suddenly disappeared. Leyla sighed in relief as she was sure that a spirit might be messing up with her. She looked around and jumped as she found that same woman sitting on the passenger side seat in her car. Leyla was not in the mood to be messed with at that time. She looked at the spirit and sighed. The woman was constantly crying. Leyla knew that she
THIRD PERSON'S POV:-Leyla went back upstairs and went straight towards the main hall. She looked around and sighed in relief. All the demon's were dead. With the help of her power, she collected the blood of all the creatures they had killed that night, and safely poured it into the drums that were waiting to be filled with the blood of the humans. Kurt walked towards Leyla with a confused frown on his face. He didn't understand the reason behind Leyla's act. "What are you doing? Why are you filling the drums with blood?" Kurt asked in a low tone. But Leyla didn't stop. She had heard Franklin's last words. And she knew she had to be ready. Once she was done with the task, she turned around and bowed in front of Kurt."I think this fight is not over. Franklin said while dying that the first seed of evil is one his way here. We need to be ready.
