Chapter 59: What Will Come of This?
Alpha Hemming's POV:
It was like I had a terrible pounding headache. All of a sudden I was starting to get feeling back in my extremities as I was starting to wake up again. As I was starting to get more feeling, it was at that point I realized I was bound by my wrists that were hung up over my head. This was not going in my favor and I was not sure what happened previously while I was out. All I remembered was being held in place with all the other pack members surrounding me before everything went dark. I do recall that they prevented me from breaking free of their grip. As for the one pack member who recognized me prior to this, he had his arm wrapped tightly around my neck. I guess he succeeded in his goal.
It was at that moment I tried to open my eyes. When I finally managed to get my eyes open, as my eyelids were extremely heavy, I
Chapter 60: I'm Going To DieMaisie's POV:Anytime anything happened to me before when I was younger, my mother would never want to hear my side of what happened. The more I tried, the more she would take my sibling's side over mine on what happened. It made me believe even more that she didn't care about me. She really didn't care about me at all, the more I thought about it. Despite all of that, I really loved my mother. She was the only thing I had. Granted I had my siblings, but they never treated me like their sibling. I didn't understand that. One day I asked her about my father and why he wasn't around. She told me when I was really young, my father ran away cause he didn't want to deal with me. She said that I caused nothing but trouble for her and my father. I guess I didn't deserve to have anyone believe me when it came to the truth. I am not sure the re
Chapter 61: Is This The Man? Alpha Hemming's POV: Just then, one of the men walking by all of us stopped walking and took a few steps back toward me. He again shined the light on my face and even seemed to lean over a bit so that he could look at me again. I still could not see his face as it was still shadowed by the top of the lantern. That was when the other two men who were walking with him, stopped and came back to stand around me as well. Did they see something? Did they know something I didn't know? They did not say anything but I could tell they were having a conversation among themselves. How is it that they could communicate with their wolves and yet I was not able to? Nothing was making any sense about what was going on at that moment, nor why any of this was happening in the first place. I tried to squint my eyes so I might be able to see at least one of their
Chapter 1: Not The Day I Expected Maisie's POV: As I was lying there, my eyes just shot open and I immediately sat up on my bed. It wasn't much of a bed. It was practically a skinny pad that was lying on the floor over in the corner of my room, as my room was not much bigger than a very small broom closet. It was located behind the garage where it would be least likely to be found. Just then, the light turned on and the door immediately burst open. I fumbled foolishly with the sheet that I attempted to cover up with and immediately stood up to my feet. My mother was the one who rushed through the door. "What are you doing?" she yelled at me as she swiftly walked over to me and, with her claws drawn out, she slapped me, causing a scratch across my face when she did. This was something she did practically every time she spoke to me. "You are supposed to start cleaning up before breakfast is served to the house. Get up and get going before I come back and really have at you!"
Chapter 2: How Will This Day Go?Alpha King Caspian's POV:I was not exactly sure how this day was going to go but I knew we were going to be traveling to the Blue Moon Pack to check on things and see how things were progressing there. Every so often, I travel to the different packs that are under my command and make sure that they have everything that they need. These visits seemed to be a bit mundane and dull, but they were necessary for the well-being and security of everything around me and our nation. I pulled my phone out of my pocket, looking at it to check the time, when I heard a knock at my door as it opened slightly."Yes, what is it?" I asked without looking up to see who was coming through the door.'Are you not even going to look up and see who is coming in?' (Cash asked me.)"Are you ready to go?" Maxwell, my Beta, said as he came into the room after knocking and speaking up without waiting for me to look up at him. "Everyone is out front and awaiting your orders, Your
Chapter 3: A Strange Tantalizing SmellAlpha King Caspian's POV:"Your Highness, if you would kindly follow me," said the woman, trying once again to gain my attention away from the intended direction I had planned on traveling. "Our Alpha is in his study if you would follow me to go and speak with him. We can start the business conversation early until breakfast is ready."I looked over at her and slightly squinted my eyes a bit. Then, I suddenly moved toward the lower set of stairs. She did not seem all that pleased with the choice of my direction. Next thing, Maxwell finally reached the top of the stairs with four other Warriors, as he saw me start to walk down the stairs at a rather swift pace. She was right on my heels and closely followed by my Beta. I was not sure what I was looking for, but I knew I would know what it was when I found it. Once I got to the bottom level, there was a long and dark hall with minimal lighting. I do not recall it being like this the last time I was
Chapter 4: What's All The Commotion? Alpha Roland's POV: When I woke up this morning, I knew that it was going to be an extremely long day. However, what exactly it would entail would determine how this morning's meeting would go when the time came. I knew that His Highness Himself would be visiting and we would have a business meeting right after breakfast. Well, that was the plan, or so I thought it was made originally. At least I was assuming that He would show up for breakfast. He would usually set a time and then He would be extremely late due to an unseen circumstance that would happen in another sector of our vast Kingdom. There was more than one werewolf pack out here as I was the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack. However, despite not knowing all the particulars about the minuscule details, I got up quickly and prepared myself, and headed out of my room to check on the various things that I checked first thing in the morning. After that, I usually went to my study, but this parti
Chapter 5: Not What I ExpectedAlpha Roland's POV:This is not exactly what I expected on the day the Alpha King was supposed to show up. Here I am, trying to get ready for the business meeting that is going to take place later on. Now, I am having to investigate some random quarrel in the dungeon. Only when I got there, that is not what appeared to be going on at all. Someone's going to pay for this mistake, but who?'I am not exactly sure. They are noisy at times, but this is a bit extreme for random rough-housing.' (I mentioned.)So I decided to go to the door and open it to listen. I stayed still a moment and listened intently to see if I could tell if anything was out of place. I didn’t hear anything at first, so I continued to stand there listening intently for a few more moments. That’s when I heard something that I did not expect. I walked out into the hall and closed the door behind me and I headed toward the staircase that led down to the lower corridor. When I got to the bas
Chapter 6: Will She Ever Wake Up? Alpha King Caspian's POV: If I had to say so to myself, I had a whole lot going through my mind as we were driving swiftly toward the Imperial Clinic. On the one hand, I was highly pissed off about the condition I had found my new Mate to be in. I wanted to make sure the ones responsible for this would certainly pay for going overboard on the punishment. The fact that they deemed that much force necessary according to the crime she committed by disrespecting the other members of the house?! That made absolutely no sense to me to receive that much force, as the one pack member described to me prior to me releasing her from her bound position. Then, on the other hand, I did not want to lose her due to not knowing about her situation sooner than I had learned about it today. I knew I have previously taught my packs to punish those who were guilty, but I also ensured in those teachings to make sure the punishments fit the crime in those instances. From

Chapter 58: New Form of Punishment? Maisie's POV: This is not what I was expecting to happen when He took me into this strange room. The last time I was in the water laying down trying to wash myself, it was extremely cold and I could not feel most of my body parts when I finally got out. The strange oils He used on me had a funny smell to them as well. Especially when He used them on my body and on the top of my head. I had no idea what to expect from that whole experience. I really was not sure what to expect when He first placed me in the water, as it was not cold at all but warmer than my skin is most days. It was not at all what I thought it was going to be like. No wonder He was able to stay in the water for as long as He did. However, when He was finished doing what, He planned on doing, He wrapped me up in that small-shaped cloth and walked out of the room. This cl
Chapter 57: Must Control My EmotionsAlpha King Caspian's POV:I couldn't exactly blame him either. It was at that same moment a small growl was heard from the deep depth of my throat as well. When that happened, I watched as she flinched but still tried to remain still in her position. The last thing I wanted to do was to scare her. 'Try to be quiet or you'll scare her!' (I urged Cash as I studied her reactions.)'Kill. Must KILL those who did this to MATE!' (Cash almost yelled in my own head.)'I will tend to those soon enough. For now, we need to make sure she knows she's safe. I don't want to scare her as she was earlier when we first found her.' (I made sure to point this out to Cash.)"Are you ready to get into the water?" I asked her in a soft tone, just above a whisper. She nodded her head gently as I placed both of my hands
Chapter 56: Whole New Experience Indeed Alpha King Caspian's POV: As I continued to watch her looking deep into her eyes, I was desperately trying to search her soul. Trying to have her search mine, allowing her to see that I was not going to hurt her in any way, shape, or form. She then dropped her head, lowering her eyes down to the floor once, as if she was trying to look away from my gaze, not wanting me to continue to search into her soul. I took in a deep breath as I watched her for a moment. I, with my left hand, I took it off her shoulder, placing it gently on the underside of her chin as I slowly raised her head back up to where she could look at me again. I was still slouching in my position so that I could be on the same level as her. I didn't want her to have to strain her neck to look up at me, as I was definitely taller than her. I looked back at each one of her eyes for a mom
Chapter 55: All On Your Own Alpha King Caspian's POV: Before I had a chance to say anything back, she had already turned on her heels and started to storm off back down the corridor. I honestly can't help but shake my head at this current situation. I kind of almost chuckled to myself, as I watched her continue to walk down the corridor with her arms crossed in front of her. Technically she was the only one who was allowed to get away with the way she spoke to me. I overlooked it considering we didn't have our parents anymore. All those years ago, I would get on to her for talking to me in such a manner and my mother would constantly scold me. She would tell me that I should be nicer to my younger sister. Considering that our parents are long gone, I have overlooked her tone since that point, as I was harder on her when we were growing up. I turned around and closed the door
Chapter 54: Time To Get Her SettledAlpha King Caspian's POV:To say I had a lot of things going through my mind would be an understatement of all time. The fact I found my Mate was at the forefront of my mind, and of my entire existence. Knowing I now have her to protect and take care of makes me seriously wonder how things are going to change for me. However, there was also caution in that change. The fact remains, I have to wait till she's ready to tell everyone due to the conditions I found her in to start. The last thing I want to do is to overwhelm her with things I tend to do on a daily basis. When I know she could barely stand a room full of Aides at the Imperian Clinic. Still, that's just one of the numerous things I am going to deal with in the upcoming days.I looked down at her in my arms as we continued down the corridor heading to my chambers. She has not said anythin
Chapter 53: Ready To Get Settled?Maisie's POV:I tried to do as He said with my knees still pulled up to my chest. I even leaned slightly forward and raised my arms over my head some. He then placed the material around my head and arms. He then reached through the large opening and grabbed each one of my wrists and put them through the holes in the side of the delicate material. I have never felt material this soft before. This was certainly not what I was expecting. When my head came out of the hole and I could see again so I slowly lowered my legs, placing my hands in my lap. I looked around at the material that hung around my arms as it was hanging off both my shoulders. The item I wore daily did not have any, sleeves. If that is what they called them. I guess I could say that it was, well, sleeve-less?!"Very nice," He said as He stood back a moment to look at me.
