CHAPTER EIGHT.
(Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . .) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L• She wasn't raped; Elizabeth didn't know if she should believe what the stranger at her front had told her. Yet, she found herself contemplating. She only believed Gabriel had raped her because she wasn't wearing any panties, but she couldn't feel any soreness in her vagina. She couldn't feel any sort of penetration, so she knew the possibility of what the stranger was telling her could be true. However as she sat, she wondered how he was sure that she wasn't raped. “I will say this one more time,” The master said, snapping Elizabeth out of her thoughts. “You weren't raped, your pants were just taken.” Elizabeth coughed awkwardly on listening to what the stranger had said to her. She was flustered that he knew she wasn't wearing any panties, then she remembered that she was the one who had told him earlier. That aside, she knew she wasn't comfortable around him, and the way he acted strangely around her gave her goosebumps. The bad type. She shuddered as she remembered when he kept touching every part of her face like he knew her, when he called her Camille, and when he touched her temples for reasons unknown to her. Also his dressing was all dark, and she couldn't even see his eyes because they were covered with sunshades. Who wore sunshades while in the house? Apparently, the stranger at her front did. “Uh, sir,” Elizabeth began to speak, she really was getting uncomfortable with where she was and she just wanted to go home. She knew how worried her mom and brother would be just because she didn't get home the other night. “Can I go home? I really want to, my mum will be worried sick.” There was no response from the master for sometime and when he finally did, his answer wasn't something Elizabeth was expecting. He'd told her no. Aggravated, Elizabeth stood up. “What do you mean no? Why can't I go home? I appreciate you saved me when you found me unconscious, but you can't keep me hostage.” “I am sorry, Elizabeth,” The master apologized to her calmly as he stayed seated on his seat. “I know you are worried about your mother and your brother, and you really want to go home—” “Then why can't you just let me go?” “Because you'll be putting their lives in danger,” The Master told her. Elizabeth had a confused look on her face. She didn't understand what the Master was saying. She frowned. “What do you mean by saying I'll be putting their lives in danger? What sort of danger?” “There's something you need to know, but firstly I want you to have your seat,” Elizabeth complied with the Master's word and listened to what he had to say. “If you look closely at your shoulder you'll see a mark there.” “A mark?” Mumbled Elizabeth as she checked her shoulder and truly there was a mark there. A mark shaped like a skull. “What's this? I don't remember getting a tattoo.” “It isn't a tattoo,” the Master — Elbert clarified. “It's a mark placed by a supernatural being, by that I mean a werewolf. It's to summon you whenever they need you, but the reason why they placed a mark on you is what I'm curious about.” The Master stopped talking while Elizabeth looked at him, dumbfounded, she found it hard to believe everything he'd been spewing from his mouth. Suddenly, she began to laugh. Even amidst the whole tension and strangeness of the place she was, she still couldn't help but laugh at what the Master had said. “This has to be some sort of joke. Am I supposed to be in a sci-fi movie or something? Supernatural beings? Oh, please, just cut to the chase and let me go home.” “I'm not joking, Elizabeth,” The Master deadpanned. “There's more to this world than you humans know.” Elizabeth shook her head in disbelief as she scowled at the Master. “Spare me those fictional stories you're making up. Take your head out of the mud—” “Elizabeth—” “I am not done talking,” She quickly interrupted the Master's speech as she continued to talk while the Master rested his hand on his chin as he listened to her calmly. “Look, I don't know who you are but I want you to know this isn't 'Vampire Diaries' or 'The Originals', this is freaking real life where humans, plants and only animals cohabitate with each other. And no, I won't be playing 'Elena' to your 'Damon' so let me go home now.” “Are you done talking?” Asked the Master as he stood from his seat and sauntered to where Elizabeth was standing. “And about the references you kept talking about, I am sorry I don't know them. I don't know any Damon or Elena, you can call me old school for not knowing them — it's cool because I'm archaic. However, I'm not making up any orthodox story, I am only speaking facts.” Elizabeth moved back as the Master got closer to her. “I really think you need help. Maybe see a psychiatrist or a witch doctor, because you honestly can't tell me werewolves are real.” The master kept on moving towards her. “I don't need to see a psychiatrist because I am sane. Also I can tell you they are real, because they really are.” “Okay, fine,” Elizabeth pushed her hands forward to stop the Master from coming any further towards her. “And please don't come any further to me, otherwise I'd yell that you want to rape me.” “No one would hear,” The Master stopped moving. “There's a spell that's been placed on this house that prevents ordinary humans from seeing it.” “You mean like a cloak?” She found it hard to believe what Elbert was saying. “Right on point,” Answered the Master. “All in all, Elizabeth, what I am trying to tell you is that you have to stay at my abode for the meantime till I can figure out how to get the mark off you.” Immediately Elizabeth heard that the stranger was planning on keeping her at his abode, she fell to her knees and began to plead with him to let her go. “Please, let me go,” She begged as tears began to form in her eyes. “I don't want to die young, so please I beg of you to let me go home to my mother.” “I would Elizabeth, but there are things about you that I need to know. Things about the mark, and your relation to her,” The master squatted at her front. And he referred to Camille with 'Her'. “Maybe I'm selfish, but I really do not want you out of my sight because your life is in danger — I really can feel it.” Elizabeth stood up angrily. She was tired of everything and she just wanted to leave. She wiped off the tears that rolled down her cheeks with the back of her palm and glared at the Master who was now on his feet as she began to yell at the top of her voice. “Just let me out of here, my life isn't in danger and even if it is, I'll report to the police.” “You still don't believe me.” “Did you hear what you've been saying?” Elizabeth scoffed. “Even if I was the dumbest human on Earth, I wouldn't even believe you. And FYI, I. am. not. dumb.” “I find that hard to believe,” Countered the Master. “If really you aren't dumb then you'd believe what I've been telling you.” "Excuse you, should I take what you just said as a compliment? Because I really doubt it is,” Sassed Elizabeth as she pointed a finger at him. “Okay fine, why should I believe you?” “You know why, deep down inside you. Something tells you what I'm saying is true,” Elizabeth was quiet as the Master spoke. “The werewolves in your dream were real. They weren't just a nightmare.” The dream she had began to pop in her mind again. She remembered seeing werewolves hurdling around her in her dream. One in particular even pierced his fingers…claws into her…then she began to remember. It wasn't just a dream. It was reality. She was about to leave the party when Gabriel suddenly groped her. Reacting instinctively, she slapped him. His eyes darkened, shifting colors as he dug his claw into her arm. After that, everything went black. Elizabeth was jolted back to the present by a sharp pain in her arm. She let out a loud yelp, collapsing slowly to the floor. Her gaze dropped to her arm, and she screamed at the sight of blood pouring from a wound that hadn’t been there moments ago. As her cries echoed, she glanced up at the Master, who stood motionless, silently watching her. “What the hell is happening to me?” There was fear in her voice as hot tears began to run down her cheeks due to the pain she was feeling in her hand. “Now you believe me?” Elbert moved next to her. “You were attacked by younger werewolves at the party yesterday night and that is how you got the injury on your arm.” Elizabeth cried. The pain was excruciating. “This wasn't there this morning. I thought it was just a nightmare.” “I stopped the pain and the bleeding. I also got rid of the scar,” the Master placed a hand on her face as he used a finger to clean her tears which kept rolling down. “It's something I can do, but I decided to open the injury just to prove to you that supernatural beings exist. It's real life, Elizabeth, take it or leave it.” The Master held his hand above her wound, and gradually, the pain began to fade. Elizabeth watched in disbelief as the injury slowly healed, leaving only the bloodstains behind. She stared at the master, wide-eyed, struggling to process what had just happened before her eyes. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice shaky. Wiping away her tears, she sat up with the Master’s help, her gaze never leaving his. “Who are you?” “I am Elbert Edgar,” he replied, his voice calm. “Someone who once knew you.” Elizabeth’s mind swirled with confusion. “What...what are you?” Elbert remained silent as he removed his sunglasses. Elizabeth gasped, staring at his piercing red eyes. “What are you?” she repeated, her voice trembling as the memory of the earlier pain weighed on her. “I am a vampire,” he said softly. Elizabeth fainted. To Be Continued. . .Thank you all for reading.

The werewolves territory. . .•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Standing at the front of a huge door was Damien as he glanced at his back, sighing in relief when he couldn't see the girl that claimed to have met him before, when he knew she was talking about his brother.Placing a knock on the huge door there was a response from inside the house, and instantaneously, the door fell opened. A bulky man who looked like he was in his late forties stood by the door with a poker face as he stared at Damien. "And what is a zombie doing at my doorstep?" He asked, now adorning a smug smile."I'm here to seek for someone," Damien said, ignoring the mans statement about him being a zombie. "Is there anyone who bears the name Gabriel?""Why do you want to know?" The bulky man asked instantly with a scary frown on his face.Damien rolled his eyes, he was already getting tired of the man's questioning and unappealing visage so he decided to do what the Master had warned him aga
CHAPTER TEN.(Southern Svetyland) Master vampire house. . .•T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth gasped as she woke up, holding her head as a terrible migraine shot through her. She sat up straight on the bed she was laying on, looked around the whole room and noticed that the room was the same room she'd seen herself in the time after the party. She then remembered everything the stranger had told her and how he said Vampires were real. At first she thought it was impossible and the stranger was just insane; but then he proved it to her. She facepalmed herself and began to question if everything she knew about life were just lies. And Indeed, she thought, life was full of mysteries that most humans were either ignorant of or unaware of."You're awake," a masculine voice stated, and Elizabeth took her gaze to where the voice came from. She saw a masculine silhouette resting on the wall, and she couldn't exactly see him because that area of the room was a bit dark. "I thought you'd never wak
CHAPTER ELEVEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Damien placed his hand on the wheel, trying to banish all thoughts of Freya from his mind. He shouldn’t be attracted to any woman whatsoever. All he should think about should be having them in his beds and arms. But, even as he thought this it was so difficult to get her out of his mind.He steered the car into his home and got out. This was the perfect camouflage to act like he was normal, at least till he got the truth out of Freya. Two vampires were stationed at the door, as he stepped into the threshold. They greeted him, but he didn’t respond. He walked blindly to his room and shut the door behind him. Everything here was dark, but his glowing eyes made it easy to navigate the room. Damien hated the light and anything to do with it. “Damn it!” He cursed fluidly. He walked over to his mini bar and brought out a whiskey bottle, which didn’t contain whisky. It was filled to the brim with blood; human blood. Without bothering
CHAPTER TWELVE.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elizabeth stared at the master. He was indeed standing right there in the flesh. Yet, she stupidly looked at the chair he had just vacated, believing that he had split in twos. There was nothing there, other than a dangling chair.“Relax,” the master said easily.Elizabeth swallowed. “How do I relax? This is too much for my small head to wrap around. I know you’ve said what you are. But, deep down, I thought you were bluffing. Eh, no, I hoped you were bluffing! But, I guess that’s not true,” she said in horror.Elbert simply looked at her, there was no sign of amusement in his eyes, but strangely Elizabeth felt she saw kindness in the master’s eyes. It was a strange thought because the master was a vampire, and should not be capable of showing such feelings.“Let’s sit. You need to regain some control of your emotions,” he said calmly. She allowed him to lead her to a chair, opposite his. Her eyes touched the whole chair to be
CHAPTER THIRTEEN.(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•Elbert, the master vampire lay with his head staring at the dark ceiling. He had switched on a blue translucent bulb, as he waited patiently for Damian to come to him.The door creaked open, and the younger vampire stepped into the room. Elbert did not steer. He was like a mannequin at that very moment, and it sent shivers up the younger vampire’s back.“Tell me, Damian,” Elbert said simply.“She is safe,” Damien said in reverence, his head bowed to the ground. They were talking about Elizabeth. Elbert knew that she was safe, he had followed them without them knowing it. But, he wanted to enquire about something else that left him in angst.“Then, why are you here so late? Where were you?” Did he ask coldly?Damian looked up just then, and Elbert could see the sorrow infused in them. What could have happened that brought such anguish to Damian? He waited patiently for the truth to unfold.“I was called over to the outskirts of
CHAPTER FOURTEEN(Southern Svetyland) •T–––M–––V–––P–––L•The moment Elizabeth shut the door behind them, Elbert spun her around to face him. His hands were cold, as cold as ice. She wondered how he wasn’t shivering. But that thought would have to be stalled in the face of the drama that was ongoing now.“We need to do something,” she said abruptly.“I don’t think bringing me up like this to your room is going to solve anything,” Elbert said instead.Elizabeth huffed in response. She didn’t need a class on how to act, especially not in this situation. There were a lot of things that were going off the charts, and she couldn’t understand. But, one thing she knew for a surety was that she was not going to get her mom harmed in any way or form.“And, giving me this lecture isn’t going to solve anything. You have to understand that what we need is to figure out a way to leave this place,” she said in exasperation.Elbert gave her space as he moved to the other side of the room. His finger

You truly are as silly as always,” she teased.“I’m sorry. I was caught up with something. Did you want something?” She asked stiffly.Elizabeth gave her one of her looks. “Do I need anything to see my best friend?” She queried.A nervous laugh. “I was joking,” Freya mumbled.Elizabeth playfully hit her friend on the arm. “I know. Who was that man?” Freya shifted her gaze from her, and gave a nervous shrug. “It was nobody. Tell me why you’re here,” she said firmly.Elizabeth stopped herself from looking towards the direction of the vampire master. Freya mustn’t know that she was going with him for whatever reason. “Well," she said absently. "I felt you must have been worried because you didn’t see me that night. I wanted to tell you that I

A frown outlined her features, as her eyes travelled from her face to her left hand. The hand was as useless as useless can be. It dangled now, and she barely knew what to do with it.She could remember begging her lover, Elbert to free her from this, and cut the whole thing off from its roots, so she would come to terms with the fact that she had no left arm, but he had refused vehemently. The man was so stubborn most of the time. And, worse, out of touch with reality. Who brought a strapless dress for his woman, knowing fully well she had a useless arm. At this point, she concluded, he was making a mockery of her.“My love,” a husky voice sounded with such intensity.Using the mirror as a guide, she saw Elbert grinning at her with pride evident in his eyes. When he noted how forlorn she obviously was, the smile dropped from hi
