84. Escape

I carefully held my breath, making my movements slow and steady as I reached over to mute the machine. I managed to do the first one flawlessly. I then reached over and muted the second. Once the machines were muted, I removed the IV carefully from my arm. I used the blanket to cover the blood that came out and checked it soon after. My arm had thankfully stopped bleeding, only a small trickle had come out.

I shifted my legs off the bed and tried standing up. It wasn't easy at first, but thankfully my legs began to work with me rather quickly.

I looked around the room for anything that I could use. Unfortunately, the only thing I could find was a pair of scrub pants in the bathroom. They seemed to be clean and were probably there for me once I had a chance to shower. I wished there were shoes, however, I wasn't so lucky.

I snuck up towards the door, and silently checked to see where all the guards were. Unfortunately, there were two guards stationed outside of my room. So escaping
