It is no longer strange what this man can do to me.

Trying to conceal more revelation by using my long lashes to cover the major part of my eyes, I took a sip from my wine glass.

As if he knew what I was doing, he chuckled just as the waiters walked to our table with the first course.

Relieved to have something to distract me from the potency of the man’s attention, I picked the napkin and spread it smoothly on my thighs.

With our attention on the food, it was some minutes before any of us could say anything and even then, it was to share a mundane topic as I shielded from having any talk that was personal.

It would be a shame if the man asked about my background and I began to stammer.

I will never lie about my parents but I also don’t have any intention to confess that they are actually in the same country as me. Not just the country but also the same province.

Won’t he then be curious that he had never seen them in the house in any of his visits or heard about them?
