“May I have this dance with you, dear?” A voice asked from behind me.
Ugh! No!
I huffed in annoyance, turning around to face the person but froze when I realised who it actually was who asked me for a dance.
It was Ashton Knight…
It was Archer’s father.
The same man who hated me with everything he had.
Is he here to say, ‘I told you so’? Because if so, I don’t wanna hear it.
I schooled my expressions and smiled for anyone who might’ve been looking at us.

I woke up feeling groggy and totally out of it. I knew that I wasn’t in my room at my house but I was not so surprisingly calm about being at a stranger’s house.
