He sighs and loses that relaxed healer facade and seems to straighten, standing to his full height, which I am surprised is nearly a foot taller than Valentino and Henry. As I make it to the outer door, I again crack it slightly and peek out. The further I can get away without raising the alarm, the better for me and my son. It was definitely something I wasn't expecting from her and then she let me guide her for a little while before I had to take control and have her screaming for me.
