Ethan's P.O.V

I knew Isabelle was not happy about the decision I made earlier. I felt she was appalled by the actions I took but I knew as a leader I had to make tough calls. I had to be stern at some point too. If not, nobody would take me seriously. I had pardoned the guard who had the sense enough to confess but the ones who would not, well I needed to make an example of somebody.

As I watched Isabelle leave, I had half a mind to go after all but then I thought against that and allowed her to go. She deserved her peace and quietness too.
