Ethan's P.O.V

The next few minutes were like hours to me as we moved about, overseeing the servants lay out a table and carry refreshments to the garden where my impromptu birthday celebration was supposed to be carried out. I wasn't overly thrilled with the idea but I was doing this to humor Isabella who had made sure that I remembered.

The kiss I planted on her lips left both of us in silence and feeling awkward. I knew I shouldn't have done that. I was stronger than this petty nonsense and I shouldn't be going off the deep end with Isabella that way, I didn't want her to tag me as a freak.

The first person to arrive was Brian. He appeared in his well ironed suit with his hair well styled. Seeing the man was a relief because the silence between I and Isabella was becoming way uncomfortable.

I conversed with Brian while we waited for the arrival of the others and soon enough, the guests began to arrive by the numbers. There was my aunt and uncle, Talia and some captains in the pack
