63. Rebecca

“I am going to help you find a way out of the castle.”

A derisive snort left my lips, and Rebecca chuckled. "I still don't know who the fuck you are?"

"I am princess Rebecca Egor."

"Oh, that makes sense. You are the King's daughter. So it definitely means you are the enemy," I said with a growl and she shook her head.

"I don't care for my father's method. I don’t want blood shed.”

So she is a rebel? How much could I trust a rebel anyway? I was already aching all over and my patience was hanging from a thin thread. I felt like clawing someone's face off, and she had a pretty face, too.

“Let me help you.” She took a step towards me and I backed off. She shook her head. “I promise I won’t hurt you.” She took another steps towards me and this time, I didn’t move. I just watched as she put a hand on my wrist and closed her eyes. I felt warmth and then the cuts and wounds made by the styrodian were gone.

I sighed, relieved when I felt the pain had subsided. "Thank you."
