Chapter 168 : Why?

Uriah's POV:

“You are a coming with me” I said wit a cold and firm look.

Anya just looked at me and nodded.

I wanted my son and I can but just sit there and do nothing .

As we walked, Anya spoke hesitantly, "Luna Uriah, I saw Alpha Denzer a few nights ago."

My heart skipped a beat. "You did? Where was he?"

Anya's expression changed, and she seemed reluctant to reveal more. "He was with someone, a stranger. I couldn't hear their conversation, but they seemed to be discussing something important."

"Did you see which way they went?" I asked, hope rising in my chest.

Anya nodded. "Yes, they headed further into the forest, in the direction of the neighboring pack's territory."

My heart pounded in my chest, and without a second thought, I began to follow the path Anya described.

We left the pack in secret and walked for what felt like hours, our determination driving us forward.

Finally, we reached a clearing where we saw Alpha Denzer and a tall figure, their backs turned to us.
