Uriah's POV:

Alpha Denzer was a powerful and dangerous figure, and I knew that we had to be prepared for anything. But what did he want? What was his endgame?

There were aprophecies about him, foretells of a great battle between good and evil.

I didn't know what to believe. Was Alpha Denzer truly a threat to our pack?

Or was he simply a misunderstood figure, a victim of his own ambition?

I sighed and rubbed my temples. I was tired, both physically and mentally. I needed to rest, to clear my head.

But I knew that I couldn't rest.

Not yet.

Not until I had a better understanding of Alpha Denzer and his plans.

I turned and walked out of the library, determined to find the answers I was looking for.

As I walked through the halls of the palace, I could hear the sounds of my packmates sleeping.

They were safe, for now.

But I knew that wouldn't last forever.

Alpha Denzer was coming. And I had to be ready for him.

I reached my chambers and opened the door, careful not to wake Xavier.

Uriah’s POV: He was furious and so livid. “You betrayed me, Uriah. After all that we have been through, you still chose this traitor over me. Very good”. I didn't care. I had done what I thought was right. I had saved Tyler's life for answers, and that was all that mattered. With that I stayed silent. Xavier didn't exile me, but he did distance himself from me. He didn't trust me anymore, and he didn't want to be around me.He even did not come over to see me in the evening nor did I see him the next day too. I became very distressed and heartbroken. But I still love Xavier .It's been weeks already and everything is over. I couldn't believe that Xavier was still angry with me.. I was starting to get really worried. Xavier's POV"You went to save him? After all we've been through? After all I've done for you?" I spat out, my voice trembling with anger."I did it because I thought it was the right thing to do," Uriah replied, her voice surprisingly calm."The right thing to do? He betrayed us, Uriah! He betrayed you!" I shouted, my fists clenched at my sides."I know, but he was in a coma, Xavier. I couldn't just stand by and let him die," she said."He should pay for what he did, not be saved by you!" I roared, my control slipping."He will, Xavier. But I couldn't let his pack fall into the wrong hands," she said, her eyes pleading with me to understand.I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. "You should have come to me, Uriah. We could have discussed it together. But you went behind my back," I said, my voice low but filled with disappointment."I know, and I'm sorry," she said softly.Sorry wasn't enough. Xavier's POV:As I walked away from Uriah, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions swirling inside me. Anger, hurt, and a sense of betrayal consumed my thoughts. How could she choose Tyler over me, after everything we had been through? It felt like a stab in the heart, and I couldn't bear the pain. One evening, as the sun was setting, I found myself standing in the gardens of the palace, lost in thought. The cool breeze brought a sense of calm, and I leaned against a tree, trying to find clarity amidst the turmoil. Then, unexpectedly, I heard footsteps approaching. I turned to see Uriah walking toward me. Her eyes were red and puffy, a clear sign that she had been crying. I tried to avoid eye contact, not wanting to show my vulnerability, but she gently touched my hand, urging me to look at her."Xavier, I'm so sorry," she said, her voice filled with remorse. "I never meant to hurt you. I love you, and I hate myself for causing you pain."I couldn't deny that I still loved

Xavier's POV: But as the days passed, the longing for Uriah became unbearable. I missed her laughter, her warmth, and the way she knew me better than anyone else. I couldn't ignore the fact that I still loved her, and I couldn't keep denying myself the chance to talk to her.One evening, as the sun set on the horizon, I made a decision. I needed to see Uriah and find out if there was any hope left for us. The thought of facing her both excited and terrified me, but I couldn't let fear control me anymore. As I approached the palace, I noticed a strange tension in the air. The omegas and betas seemed on edge, and their usual cheerfulness was replaced by hushed conversations and worried glances. But I was too preoccupied with my own thoughts to pay much attention to their behavior."Where is Uriah?" I asked one of the omega maids I recognized. She hesitated before answering, "She's... She's not feeling well, Alpha Xavier."My heart clenched at the concern in her voice. "Not feeling w

Uriahs POV:After my intense confrontation with Alpha Denzer, the days that followed were surprisingly calm and peaceful – or at least as peaceful as they could be in such a grim situation. I had made a choice, a difficult one, to act like a devoted mate to Denzer for the sake of my son, Arion. While I couldn't bear the thought of being intimate with him, I had to keep up the act to keep my son safe.Denzer seemed to give me space, and I was grateful for that. He didn't push himself on me, and I took advantage of this by keeping my distance whenever he tried to be close. I always found an excuse or pretended to be occupied with some task, making sure there was a barrier between us at all times. It was a delicate balance, not too submissive, but not too rebellious either. I knew that the moment I resisted too much, it could endanger Arion's life.In the days that followed, I spent most of my time with Arion. Alpha Denzer allowed me to be with him, and I cherished every moment we ha

Xavier's POV:I immediately summoned the pack members and relayed my suspicions. "Anya might have acted through a proxy," I explained. "It's time we find out who might have helped her."Lucas and the others nodded in agreement, and the search took a new direction. We questioned every pack member, and it wasn't long before we found a lead—a young wolf who seemed nervous and evasive."Tell me the truth," I demanded, staring into the young wolf's eyes. "Did you have any involvement in Uriah's kidnapping?"His gaze shifted, and he hesitated before finally confessing. "Yes, Alpha. Anya coerced me into helping her. She threatened my family if I didn't do as she said."My heart sank, realizing that Anya's web of deception had ensnared others as well. "You will be forgiven if you cooperate fully," I said sternly. "Tell me everything you know about the kidnapping."He hesitated, fear still evident in his eyes, but he eventually provided valuable information. He revealed the location where Any

Xavier's POVI stood in my study, my mind focused on the task at hand. I needed to find Uriah, and to do that, I had to start from the beginning. My instincts told me that Anya had been hiding something, and I needed to confirm my suspicions."Beta Lucas," I called, my voice steady. Lucas was one of my most trusted advisors, and I knew I could rely on his judgment. He entered the room promptly, bowing respectfully. "Alpha Xavier, you called for me?""Yes," I replied, "I need you to gather a team of our best trackers and investigate the place where Uriah was last seen with Anya before she was kidnapped."Lucas furrowed his brow. "But Anya claimed that Uriah willingly left with Alpha Denzer on her own."I fixed him with a cold look. "Anya had hidden herself and her ambitions very well. She wouldn't make up a story about Uriah leaving of her own free will with Alpha Denzer."Lucas hesitated for a moment, then nodded in understanding. "You're right, Alpha. They all knew my temper, and they didn't want to risk annoying me further. As I took a seat at the table, the elders greeted me warmly. "Alpha Xavier, it's good to see you join us," one elder said with a smile."Yes, it's been a while since we all gathered like this," added another elder."I'm glad we can come together and celebrate," I replied, trying my best to appear relaxed.Anya, sitting next to me, chimed in, "Indeed, it's a joyous occasion. Xavier's POV: As the days stretched on, the search parties scoured the forests and neighboring territories tirelessly. But I couldn't afford to be swayed by emotions. I needed answers. She stammered, "Uriah.
