Chapter 134: The Anchor

Uriah's POV:

Fatigue tugged at my limbs, but the thought of Arion's face pushed me to new limits.

He was our anchor, our reason to fight, and we would not fail him.

We pressed forward, never relenting, knowing that our bond and love for each other would guide us through the darkness.

We fought not only for ourselves but for all those who had suffered under Nabitha's tyranny.

And then, with one final strike, we incapacitated all of Nabitha allies.

They fell to the ground, defeated and at our mercy.

The room fell silent, save for our ragged breaths as we stood over her, victorious.

"It's over, Nabitha," Xavier declared, his voice carrying the weight of our triumph. "Your reign of darkness ends now."

Nabitha's eyes bore into mine, a sinister smile etched on her face. "You may have won this battle, but the darkness will find a way. Remember my words, for it will always seep through."

Ignoring her taunts, I turned to Xavier, my heart swelling with a mix of emotions.
