“You win!” My mother shouted banging open the door to our house.

Her face was red from anger and exhaustion, nerves bulging in her neck to signify how worked up she had been.

“Aldith! Calm down. You will scare her,” my Dad immediately rose up from beside me to stop her from doing something harsh.

“No! I have had enough. I can’t take this anymore. She doesn’t understand how I feel and I have had enough,” she shouted glaring at me as Dad closed the door behind my mother and forced her to go sit in the single sofa chair.

“That’s not true. She knows how you feel, it's just that she is young right now,” he said trying to make her feel better but it didn’t seem to be working as she glared at me with her bright green eyes the same color as my own.

“No, she is no longer our little girl. She is all grown up and can take her decision on her own. She thinks she can do anything with herself now that she is an adult. She doesn’t care about anything and probably thinks of us to be a nuisan
