Aurelia's POV

I paced my room with one hand on my belly and another in my mouth, biting my nails as I moved back and forth in my room. It had been an hour already since Olivia must've delivered my note to Casey and Glenn. Had they truly abandoned me to this fate?

If I was truly on my own, it would be a hassle to get through those guards standing outside my room.

Now that Adrian knew, I didn’t know how he was taking this or what he was planning but I had a plan of my own and I wasn't going to let him and Aria dictate my life with their little scheme.

I flinched when I heard a noise by the door and soon the sound of heavy footsteps fading away. I waited out the quietness before the door creaked open and a familiar face poked her head in.

"Oh, it's just you, Olivia," I said. I was a bit disappointed, "What was that outside?"
