Chapter 89: An Instant Connection

Andrew’s POV

I sighed and dropped the journal in my palm; with Edna's assistance and some encouraging words, I was able to read a few more pages, and it was strange how I felt an instant connection to my father.

It appears he was misunderstood and wanted to be heard, so he kept this journal; however, the entry was a little confusing. My father will repeatedly emphasize how hard he worked to depose the previous alpha king before becoming one.

Edna had been away from the pack for more than a week for business reasons, and I hadn't been able to read another page since she departed, I was caught on the page we read together, and all I could do was go back and read it again.

I stepped outside my room, feeling fatigued; I decided to take a walk around the pack in the hopes of seeing my pack members; my eyes wandered around, and I saw a lot of work going on, the building of the pack, and I was relieved.

I considered never having war in my pack again; I would rather go to the enemy p
