Chapter 60: A Ridiculous Bargain

Athena’s POV

I strained my eyes as I emerged from the dungeon with my wrists shackled, I looked around and was emotionless, I couldn't believe the last time I stepped outside to see the sun directly and breathe fresh air, I was already acclimated to the dungeon's toxic air.

I noticed people gathered around me, their eyes on me, I appeared like a criminal being brought for punishment; everyone was watching to see what would happen to me, I tilted my head when the guards suddenly stepped closer to me.

The guards hauled me roughly to the vehicle, and I noticed Lucas, who had his eyes on everyone but me. He appeared ashamed to see me, and I also noticed a lot of men gathered to go with us.
