Chapter 141: Nothing Is Definite

Athena's POV

I was busy wandering around my room pondering what to do when the spy Alpha Daniel had placed in Alpha Gideon's pack to monitor what Andrea and Lucas were both doing was slain, leaving Alpha Daniel in a very bad state since the morning.

If they could have found and killed them, it means they know everything and are preparing for war as well; the battle might start at any time and one party will be forever tarnished.

I'm terrified, genuinely scared because nothing is definite; I can't say things will be fine, or we'll all be fine because who knows what Andrea and Lucas have up their sleeves; if they can kill an innocent child like Emily who loved Lucas so much, they can do anything.

I sighed and sat down on my bed, knowing that no amount of thinking would result in a solution and that all I needed to do was keep practicing so that I could protect my son and my loved ones. I squeezed my eyes shut and collapsed on the bed, my hands stretched across the mattress. I wa
