Chapter 154

Jane’s POV

He slammed his sword into mine, shattering the wooden weapon I held up to protect myself with. I had not seen that coming as my hope had been that the sword would protect me from damage.

Just in time, I jumped two paces back to avoid any future attacks from the alpha.

“Sorry about that,” he straightened up looking at his own dented sword. “These swords are too old.”

“Or maybe it’s because we are wolves and we are using wood to fight?” I laughed. “How about we use our claws and fists? I’m sure our bones can take the hits.”

He tossed the weapon away and gestured for me to attack him.

I would not use magic against him. I would attack him head on as he wasn’t a big threat to me.

He might be the alpha but after what I had learned with the witches I was very sure I didn’t need to fear him anymore. He was just another opponent to me that I could take down without trouble.

We clashed into each other, punching and kicking and I found myself kicking harder than usual while he chuckl
