Jane’s POV

I stood up to pace around the room. I noticed that my hands were shaking. This was odd seeing as I didn’t usually get scared from calls like this. But I was scared.

Sullivan had tortured me while I grew up under his care. He had used the lies that he was my fathers replacement and my fathers brother to brainwash the entire pack into letting me stay at the pack under his own control.

I hated him for everything he had done to me. He has treated me like a slave with the entire pack not even knowing.

I had been let out during my mating period and he had made sure everyone saw that I was getting mated to an alpha even if he was a terrible one at the time due to rumors.

Now if I were to attack him, the pack would call me ungrateful. That I was biting the hand which fed me. The truth here being that they had seen what Sullivan wanted them to see while I would suffer in silence because they could not see my past sufferings and I had been silent throughout my time in the pack.

I hat
