Missed Opportunity

Brayden cursed under his breath. It was a quick movement. He didn’t expect to witness Alpha Draco do that stunt at all. The position he was in seconds ago was impossible to get out of.

Tricky, he thought. He was outsmarted. The lower back which was hit by the kick from Alpha Draco hurt like hell.

“You… you’re something else.”

He said, but moments after saying that, Alpha Draco has gone back to his direction and aimed to bite his throat. Thankfully, he missed.

“Never put your guards down, son. I should have taught you that lesson if you only stayed on my side of the team.”

Brayden can’t help but laugh. The Great Alpha still cannot let it go, can he?

Outside, Damon’s still shooting wolves like they were rabbits. Harper was beside him, aiding with the kills. The other wolves are stuck with one another, wrestling through the moist mud and tall grasses. It’s easy to spot the enemies though, they’re either black or white wolves with red eyes glowing in the dark.
