Captured Alpha

The crowd silenced when the sound of the gun tossed off echoed across the roundhouse. Brayden stopped wrestling with the Great Alpha too. Marion’s eyes followed the path of the gun, and there, for a moment, he thought of chasing after it.

“Did you just-“

The look on Marion’s face shifted into utter disbelief. Maybe he’s thinking Brayden would follow everything he says, that being a part of the Virgo automatically meant being submissive. He clearly hasn’t known him yet.

“Don’t butt in on my strategies, Marion. I have a plan of my own.” - Brayden said, making Marion’s brows clash in the middle

“You don’t know the consequences of your actions. I’m thinking for the pack. You’re only thinking for yourself.”

The whole roundhouse was quiet. None wanted to disrupt the two as they discuss things. They were certain anytime now, a bigger bomb is about to drop between the two. The misunderstanding between them has to be resolved and only one has to be right. Not both.
